On my Landmark Oshkosh I use a plastic tote to carry two sections of hose that is normally all I need. I carry two more sections of hose in the storage tube mounted under the frame.

After living most of my life along the Gulf coast of Texas, I have always recommended anyone that is spending very much time near salt water to take care to wash off any exposed metal on both their truck or trailer. If not, be prepared for rust and corrosion.

Commercially made trailers have a permanent VIN stamped into the metal of the frame as well as a sticker that gives the number as well as date produced. I believe the stamped number can be found near the kingpin. Home-built trailers have always used an assigned number that is issued by the state.
