By any chance is that spring completely extended, while positioned for a extended time?
Looks to me like the spring has been pulled apart and stayed that way for a while.

Maybe disc brakes is what you need. Just to be upfront, we own Performance Trailer Brakes. But your truck is not suppose to stop your trailer. Your trailer should be stopping your trailer.
Even if your drum brakes we're working perfect, disc brakes can stop you in half the distance and time...
It actually depends on your trailer weight. Google the tire inflation chart. That will give you the proper inflation data youneed.

Glad I was able to help. For those that might not know, we stock all parts that are needed for any repair of the Titan and Kodiak systems. We do not stock anything for the Hydrastar Actuator, as we use the Titan Brakerite EHB. We can ship overnight if needed, and we only charge for parts and...
Gary521 Is correct on his statement. PTB does still have some of the Titan kits, as Dexter has not quite exhausted their inventory. But the Titan and Kodiak kits are in all, the same. PTB just use the Brakerite Actuator that Titan sold to Dexter, that is better than even the original Dexter...
Just remember that there are different actuators out there. Morryde uses a different actuator than Performance Trailer Braking does. PTBs actuator is faster than the other actuator. Giving you a full 1/2 second faster reaction time. iS is great, but PTBs Disc Brakes are the way to go.

That is not original from the factory. The factory uses ASB pipe, and that is PVC. That being said, it is really hard to know what the previous own did from looking at the pictures. The cap on the center pipe looks like it might have been a vent pipe that was removed.
The X Factor Crossmember is a great product. It is very sturdy. It attaches to the Spring Hangers using the Wetbolts mainly. Which in essence is attached to both side of the Spring Hanger. It does 2 things, it strengthens the weakest part of your suspension, while also strengthening the Spring...
Performance Trailer Braking can get you a new axle. One ordered to the exact specs as the other one. Give us a call at 405.626.7009.
