EVENT: Heartland Regional Rally: CA, Temecula - 10/10/2013 to 10/14/2013

I wasn't worried except that I thought I had read it. But then I wondered if I was losing my mind. Which, if you ask my husband, is possibly the case. 😜 No worries. :-) just come in time for the rhubarb pie!

Re: EVENT: Heartland Regional Rally: CA, Temecula - 10/10/2013 to 1/1/1970 I think the potluck is Friday night at the meet and greet? I just don't think the change got put onto the original post? See posts 19-23. The question was originally posted by Jim, who is planning the deal. He's just...

Norcold door won't stay closed during travel?

Walmart, ToysRUs, Target and lots of other stores sell something like this. I would prefer that over duct tape. It should be removable also. (Google child safety fridge latch) http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00068O250

any ideas on the cabling for the cyclone..dont understand

Yes- I meant "rewire!" We ran all new cables to the televisions separate from the built ins. That way we can still use the original wiring while traveling and keep the antenna, etc.

any ideas on the cabling for the cyclone..dont understand

Directv came out to set ours up and just retired the entire camper for their system. It made it a bit simpler, but it was some work!

    Heading West

We weren't heartlanders at the time- but in 2010 we traveled with our RV in February from Monterey, CA south and basically followed the I-10 all the way to FL and then took the 95 up to RI. We saw both coasts, and the Gulf of Mexico. AND we got to travel through Baltimore and DC after the...

I hope that the reason why we are able to see it is because we are members and our login info is cached somehow?

Kitchen island/ rear 1/2 bath GFI

RamDually (my husband) replaced it with a regular household GFI plug as well. I'm just glad that we weren't in any danger. Our kids sleep back there! He got it fixed, only got shocked once because I flipped the wrong breaker. He even had an audience- LaDiver is down here and got to "help" by...

Kitchen island/ rear 1/2 bath GFI

We fixed the issue. The wires going into the gfi were only making partial contact in the receptacle because the wires weren't stripped back far enough. RamD stripped the wires back more, then wrapped the wires around instead of just sliding them in for better connection. Thanks for all of...

Kitchen island/ rear 1/2 bath GFI

Did that. Everything seems fine connection-wise. So either there is something on the side of the junction box only going to those two outlets or the gfci outlet is bad is my guess?

There is a slide out near- but neither receptacle is in the slide. The receptacles in the kitchen slide and the fridge still work.
