My warrantee ran out last year. And two of my sensors have gone missing and two of them have gone dead. I may still get 6 batteries for the remaining 6 sensors and only get 2 new sensors. I'll give them a call tomorrow Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    new TST system

Duane, I do not do it every time - but I was pulling the sensors every week or so to make sure that what was reading on the sensor was correct - ( that could be how I lost one ) with the pass through I will not need to remove them every. I can check and add air as needed without removing...

iMac OS X and a MS convert (maybe)

Every time you change the backup set ( the list of directories to be backed up ) it will rescan the entire set of files to be backed up - bring all actual backups to a standstill. I use it to backup my windows, ( I run it under the virtual machine ) and my MAC and Linux systems. on the mac I...

iMac OS X and a MS convert (maybe)

Duane, I also use Time Machine and it is great for turning back the clock and recovering files that were deleted etc. The real issue here is if there was a disaster and all of your computer gear was lost or destroyed. having all of your data files in the cloud, protects you from data...

    How did you choose Heartland?

Ok - I will chime in with my Camping history and my arrival with Heartland. I started out in a tent with my Wife when we were first dating and early in our marriage and continued to tent camp after the kids arrived. we would do weekend trips and for 8-10 years we would spend 4 weeks tenting...

    new TST system

Well I will say that I love my TST system but it gave up on me last year. I have no tails to tell about how it saved me from disaster but I will be replacing mine this summer - at least the sending units - over time I lost two of them, one was totally missing and the second one snapped off and...

Wilderness owners - where are you???

Re: Wilderness owners??? Duane224, Did you perform a PDI inspection with the Dealer before taking delivery of the trailer? And did the Dealer show you that the doors locked/unlocked with the keys provided? And forgive me, if you already know this, but each door has two different keys...

    Progressive EMS

When I had my RV pad installed and had power run out to the Site - I did not rely on telling the Elect what I needed, I also purchased the Pedestal, Breakers, outlets and provided detailed wiring diagrams for both the connection to the Main power panel in my home and for the pedestal. Not that...

You are permitted to have an RV and one other on most premium sites and on some Preferred sites ( the ones that are long enough). You would want to verify that the site you are selecting can handle the tent as well. This is a photo from the Disney Web site depicting a Premium Site.

    A/V system

You read a lot, and find someone who as done exactly what you are looking for - you buy the exact same solution and they you make sure you end up at a rally where they are attending ... ;) Beemer, Seriously though all of the rigs have a "sealed" belly, but for a lot of repairs and...

    RV Lock v4.0 Pre-Sale Questions

James, Welcome to the Forum and thank you for offering the Heartland Owners a Direct Channel for our Questions. I am looking at the V4 for my RV and have a few questions - Is the V4 only available in Black or is it also available in White? - If I purchase two of these can they...

    Confused on WHICH GPS

MdMike, While I agree with Neale - people like what people like. I personally use a Garmin ( both in the truck and on the Bike ) but I also use my Iphone for localized routing. Bottom line here as Neale said, Look at what you like about the different manufactures and models. But NEVER...

    Fort Wilderness

I too have camped there 3 or 4 times in the past, I concure that the Premium sites are really nice but I too did not need the patio - the gravel one was fine and I always put out my rug so it makes no real difference to me. I have pitched a tent behind the RV in the past - for the young...

What do you consider a high price for a site.

The Best price I had was a monthly price just West of Austin Tx in Beehive where I paid only 240/month + Electric and Water. yes they metered the water at each site. But being a lone-camper and showering once a week (Just Kidding ) the water bill was much less than the electric. I believe my...
