I was able to figure out why one mine failed. There was only one screw holding it on and that screw has started to back out. This exceeded the tolerance for the arm to spin without hitting the metal bar that's under the topper. When the arm rotated, it hit the bar and bent/broke the bracket...

Thanks Jim, Your statement pretty much sums it up. The smaller diameter pipe mirrors the toilet pipe. I was not willing to start cutting the plumbing. The almost 11 cubic feet gain got me the extra space needed for the propane grill and more.

Sorry, but we can't vote the on the pole the way it is written. Either vote approves a shorter Landmark, which is not acceptable. To us the Landmark is the Top Tier in the Heartland Line and having a shorter "economy version" takes away from the prestige of owning a "Top of the Line" Landmark 365.
