Re: EVENT: Heartland Virginia Chapter Rally: NC, Rodanthe - 5/1/2014 to 5/4/2014
We will be pulling in on 29 April for a 6 night stay. Our departure on May 5th will have us heading west to the TN rally in Sevierville. Looking forward to the VA rally on the outer banks of NC.
I think we've already figured out the food stuff. For finger food Friday we'll bring stuffed mushrooms. As we were discussing Saturdays potluck item, Nelly asked if Eric and Dorothy were going to be there. When I said yes she said "Blueberry cake"!!!! There you have it, a Saturday evening pot...
Just made reservations to attend this rally. We'll roll in Friday to site 105. Will be three of us, our 4 year old grandson Brian, Nelly and myself. Now we have to figure out what to bring to the food events.
Made our reservations this morning. We'll be there from the 17th until the 24th. As planned right now we'll be bringing our 4 year old grandson along. We would like 3 of the t-shirts, 2 Xl and 1 small. Will post later what we'll bring for the potluck. Looking forward to seeing everyone at this...
I just made reservations to attend, this will be our first GA rally. We will be there sometime on the 30th, depending on how early we get out of Jacksonville, and stay until Monday, 2 Sept when we head to Crossville. Our site is #71. Will post in a day or so what food items we plan to bring for...
I hope this is legible. It is a copy of the muffin mix Nelly uses. She has used this recipee at home as well as many rallys. Nelly crushes the bran flakes after measuring to create a smoother textured mix, crushed or whole flakes work, your preference. Enjoy.

We'll be at the Meet-n-Greet, just not sure when we'll get to the valley, where we'll be staying or how long we'll be there. Need to plan our trip from Tampa to TX and from the Valley to Kerrville.
We are in, be there from 9/10 until morning of 9/17 on site 12. Looking forward to our first time camping in PA, get to be part of a rally and attend an RV show to boot. Love it.
I better let all know we have reservations to be at this rally, had them for about a week now. Be there from 9/2 until morning of 9/9. They have us on site 25. Will be rolling north on the 9th with a one night stop-over before the PA rally/RV show. Not sure of a good half way stopping point...
Me demo something, in front of others. I'll just have to tell and convince my shy bashful self that "I can do it", oh who am I kidding. Bring it on, I'll just leave my shy bashful self at home.
Kevin
Tom & Dave,
Post #1 was like that for several days before we made our reservations. Just letting you know that it didn't happen when you added us to the list.
Kevin
We will be rolling in from the IL rally on the 17th and staying until the 24th. Back to back rallies with my dad & mom in tow provided they don't change thier minds should be a good time.
We are looking forward to seeing everyone in Owatonna.
Kevin
We have reservations to come in on the 12th and leave on the 17th. It will be myself and Nelly and my dad & mom provided they don't change thier mind.
We are looking forward to seeing everyone in Lena.
Kevin
A little late here but put us down for any openings needed, full days/half days. Temporary reliefs, runners or whatever doesn't matter to us. Gonna try getting one of the Lazy Days sites from the 14-21st, 7 days.
Kevin
Looks like it is gonna be another great Sweetheart rally.
Time to sit back and enjoy everything else you have on your schedule. Larry Ulmer will open up the rally signup page later in the year, when he opens it up then you will have the option of signing up for the dinners and/or shows, shirts...
Just so everyone knows, I thought I was doing pretty good at trying to catch those treats Dave was tossing. The problem is that Tucker has had a lot more practice and he is very fast. Guess I'll just let him be the "dog" and I'll enjoy my beer.
Thanks to Dave and Amy for a great time so far.
Kevin
Dave,
For the Friday potluck add a Blueberry Layer cake and a crock pot of Chili as our contribution.
You can also add both of us to the Sunset house list for Saturday night.

Wow, I just looked through their web site http://www.gillettechophouse.com/pages/About-Us-p2494.html , some pretty amazing menu items for dining in the restaurant. If the catered items are anything close to what I saw, we are all gonna be happy. Good job Jim.
Add us to the list, been talking about it for a couple weeks now. Time to stop procastinating, would hate to see all the sites gone and us not get in. Check will be in the mail Monday or Tuesday. Will also call campground for extra days.
Kevin and Nelly Wolbeck
Jay, add Nelly and myself to the list. We'll be spending a week in the valley again this year so we will be at the Meet-n-Greet. Looking forward to seeing everyone there.
Kevin
9 of us heading out to sea on the SunCruz Casino ship. We have all filled our bellies on the buffet line and just heard the word that the casino will open in five minutes. Hoping the slots are liking me today.
Kevin
We have called Buckhorn Lake as well as filled out the rally information sheet. Should be enough to confirm our plan to be there. We are looking forward to our second year at the Sweetheart Rally.
For anyone considering this rally, don't wait to long to make the call, this campground does fill...
After 5 hour delay getting out of Va Beach, we are now set up at Oak Plantation and are ready for a rallying weekend. Have had dinner so now it is time to sleep, look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow.
Kevin
Will rehook up the Landmark and try to head that way again when the right side rear outer tire looses the bolt and decides to hold air again.
Hoping to see everyone today but at this point I don't know.

Re: Weather forecast
Pulled into this beautiful RV resort yesterday afternoon, very nice.
Woke up this morning to temps in the low 50's, light fog, about 45 minutes of light rain. What could be better, oh I know, how about enjoying it with about 30 or so fellow Heartlanders. Looking forward to...
Well, well, well. Wouldn't make sense to drive back to Va Beach from Charleston without stopping at Willow Tree. Our reservations are made for site 40, plan to roll up with the group on the 7th and stay for a week. And as far as gambling on a cruise boat, such things should be outlawed. Thats...
Scheduled to arrive at Oak Plantation, site Q4, on the 2nd and stay until the morning of the 7th. Please include us on the Grayline Tour list, a check is in the mail to cover myself and Nelly.
Scheduled for the Camp-out at Willow Tree as well.
Looking forward to seeing all soon.
