Re: ATF: Big Country - Jensen stereo removal
Oh My that seems complicated. Looks like I am just going to have to get by...thanx for the help...maybe I can get ambitious.
Re: ATF: Big Country - Jensen stereo removal
Ok Can someone help me with the electronics? I pulled the Jenson unit out, it is the 970 and I pulled out the unit. Can't get it to work with my Toshiba TV. Even the Menu on the remote for the Jenson will not open up the menu. Do not understand...
Did I miss something or is there an inside switch for the security lights? The remote is the only way to turn on those lights. If so where is it please?
Thanx...will be trying all those. I forgot about the switch in the Hyd area. Will that first. And yes each time the dealer "fixed" it worked for a couple of trips then as your opening it will slow to a stop. Will keep all up on the progress when I try this afternoon....
I have a problem with my slide switch I hope there is a fix for. The dealer can't seem to fix it. I have returned to the dealer twice for the slide switch not working. There are no fuses or breakers blown and the switch works fine for a couple of times then quits. I pulled the switch and all...
Just an update...Picked up the B/C and what they did to fix the bowing 30amp fuse was eliminate it. Was told that there was another breaker and that there was no reason for that inline fuse.....
Got to tell everyone the remote feature is great! Since I keep blowing fuses on the landing gear and the switch for the slides quits working inside, it has saved me while traveling. The remote works on its own which is good. Still love the coach and will post the new truck and B/C when I can...
Re: Fuse on front lading gear switch
Brought mine home and the first time I tried the switch the same thing happened. Thanx Mr. remote!..Anyway took it back to dealer and discovered a short. Whatever happens do not let them just put in a bigger fuse!
Well I know this pic is not very good but I promised one. As you can see the right side is much higher (2") then the left and this is one of 4. I will send the Factory rep some better ones.
Well I received a call only a few hours after my post. As before Heartland was very responsive to my "complaining". But it should have bee caught on the line, so to speak. Every one of my window valences is measured wrong along with blinds that hang well below. I promised Heartland pics...
Well we received our new BC and were both excited and disappointed just a bit. The QA is still not there. This is our second Heartland. Our first was a BH 3055. We love the 3595RE but after getting home and finding the landing gear button keeps blowing the 30amp fuse for some reason and the...
Well the wife and I finally did the trade. We had a 2006 Big Horn 3055RL. What a rig and great suport from Heartland. We just wanted more room and are ready to travel a little bit more. We looked everywhere and ended coming back to Heartland. When we compared the two we chose the BC 3595RE...
Ok after reading about the landmark, Can someone tell me where to look for the Bighorn 3055 converter. I seem to continue with dead batteries. I have replaced two of them in the last week and beleive the converter is probably the culpret. Any advise would really be nice..thanx....
...Just a general post for info....found that the little area between the rear bedroom slide wall and the bedframe was full of mold. For those with a 3055 just check that area of carpet that is hidden beneath the matress. When I checked it I found the carpet and everything under it was molded...
I can tell you that as an owner of the 3055, and great coach it is, and Heartland happy customer, you would need to reverse the door opening on the frig. You are correct it will not open with the slide closed unless you do this. It is fairly easy to do. As for the other questions sorry can't...
Has anyone had the rear window gasket start to pull off at the upper curved corners. I have tried to push it back in place but it just pulls free. Never had this problem before. Any answers shortofbuying a new gasket? :(
Thanx for the info. I have spent the better part of the day trying to find what I beleived I read at the time that said the height was 5 1/2 ". I still believe that to be true....Anyway I lowered the hitch height and am still ok for now....
Boat to 5er
I just bought aan 09 Ford 350 4x4 and my reese hitch is set second from the bottom hole which I think is a little high. Do you or anyone out there know the optimum height for the 5er to sit above the bed rails?
ok....thanx for the info...I will once again attempt to correct some of my lost air. The rear two vents in the living room just don't seem to be putting out much air. Hope it's simple for "me" to fix....thanx again
Hey guys...Just woundering how to check for seal in the ducting. I did not do the tent in vent mainly because I am not qualified to figure that one out! Anyway, I have now realized my grand idea of saving money with just the one A/C was.....not correct, sorry ladies just won't say it, and will...
I got to tell u I found the leak is coming from behind the fire extinguisher. As you look up the hoses get real tight. I could not pull them down and there is no way to get in there without removing the wall as far as I can see. I ttok off the panel on the storage side with the same result...
What is really sad is that the powers to be who are now in charge of this "change" know exactly how basic economics works. They just don't care! They get theirs reguardless of how the country might suffer.
Thanx for the explanation. Now I understand why the hoses are the way they are. I could not figure out why there were 2 hoses. I think my fix is to not use it ans clean my tank the old way....Thanx guys...
I have a water leak when using the santi-flush system. I traced the leak to the hose coming down the wall just at the forward front wall, where two hoses come into behind the entry. I have a 06 3055. The regular water seems not to leak. Is there a schematic available for the water lines? I...
Great idea, and just to let ya'll know I am not blaming Heartland. They have been a great company and my wife wants another already. I know the problem is probably common so thanks for all the great ideas. I think I will try the rubber washer on the inside with a larger metal one on the...
The fender flair or shroud or whatever it is referred to has cracked at the screw holes. Since my 3055 is only 2 years old (06), has this problem been seen before and is there a bracket that is available so that the fender flair (part that is over the wheels) does not wiggle back and forth as...
Tankie,
Got to tell u that I still laugh at my camping buddies when we set up. Takes me 5 minutes to set up DirecTV while they each spend hours with setting up DISH. I left DISh that for that reason. Make the change, it'll be worth it.
I can't tell ya'll how the Marathons make me feel. Replaced all four Kenda tires and now drive comfortably down the raod without fear or just staring in the mirror waiting to see the pieces fly!!
Don't know how old your rig is but the same thing happened to me and I found the battery dead. The smaller slides come in just fine but when the big one starts to move it all stops. Took me awhile but the battery just have the power which I found is necessary....
Shadowchek,
I am sorry to say I have been needing to wax the B/H for some time now. What type of wax are you using? Anything specific that seems to work in much easier?
fHollan,
Sorry it took so long to post. Everything is the same on the tires. I made sure that the rating, size and fit were the same. They are e-rated which is 3400 per tire If I remember right. Since I have 6K axles I am well within range. I did have them balanced. Some say not too but...
