Sorry to hear about Ruby, Jim. I hope you find comfort and when you're down, think of those special moments we all have had with our furry friends. Peace.
Re: a little help please
shouldn't you let the lemon juice stand a beer or two in the lines before you run the sinks again? Perhaps you should only run one sink, have another, then run the second. Just making sure you don't forget any steps.
Jim, I had the same issue on my BC and found that there was a splitter located under the stairs leading up front to the master bedroom and the cable running to the rear bunkhouse was not connected. I'm sure your unit is wired different however customer service should be able to provide you with...
Sebastien and gang, lot's of luck and fond memories in your new rig and I'm with you ... roughing it for me is when I need to crank up the antenna ... ha
Can you please tell me how the holding tanks are set up in my rig? Are both heads piped to a common black water tank? Where does the sink in the 1/2 lav pipe to? Is the dump valve in the rear under the steps only for the rear grey tank? Thanks in advance, John
Deb, it was great meeting up with you and John. Sorry we didn't have much time to sit and relax but we're looking forward to October when we will meet again along with plenty of others in the group. Thanks for stopping by.
do you have reception when you use the antenna? did you use the same coax cable to connect your TV as you used in the front? I had the same issue in our rig and found that the cable feeding the rear bunk was never connected at the splitter. In my unit I found the splitter under the steps...
Mill Bridge is nice. It probably hasn't changed much from what you remember. We like it because it's a quiet place in a nice area. We go out every year and do the corn maze at Cherry Crest and pick our pumkins. It's our tradition. I have no issues getting my rig in and I'm certainly not the...
Tim, what campground are you guys at? We camp at Mill Bridge every Columbus Day Weekend and the picture you posted looks like it could have been taken there.
I have an Access Cover and love it. I've moved it from one truck to another and it's still in great shape. This is the first roll-up cover I've had that works perfectly even in sub-freezing temperatures
We ended up going down Friday afternoon. Sorry we missed the gang from HOC. It was also sad to see our Crossroads salesman selling for a different dealer. However, for the first time, I was able to walk out of the show and not feel like I absolutely need to upgrade. Looks like the big thing...
That's funny Ken. I just need to make sure we don't camp near Eddy with his lights flashing all night. He would be better off just making a fused jumper and keep them on ... not as over the top.
It's really pretty simple. Pick up a flasher like that in the picture attached from a parts store or Wally World and plug it into your trailer plug with 1 male inserted in the power and the other in the lights. If you're not sure which slots are which, look at your outlet on your TV and there...
Deb, Atlantic City North in Turkerton isn't fancy but always works well for us when we want a local getaway. I know they have at least 10 pull through full hook up sites on the main road ... just another suggestion.
I hope you can help. I recently purchased a 2009 3490RB and have a question regarding the rear bunkhouse slide. When retracted, the leading side (front of unit) is light against the unit, so tight the trim is a little bent back vs. flush. However, the trailing edge seems to have a gap...
I just found that one of ours is blown as well. I plan to pick up a set of marine speakers at West marine and give them a shot. They have held up well to the salt conditions on the boat. That will be a Spring project and perhaps Santa will put a set under the tree.
Check all your ground wires and make sure all your connections are clean. Any corrosion will cause many headaches. You don't want to overlook the obvious.
Perhaps you can disconnect the loads from the converter and hook one up at a time until you find the circuit that's causing the overload. However, if you disconnect the loads and the problem continues with the loads disconnected, I would say there's a problem with the converter. As will...
Bill, we spend a week each year at Otter Lake in Marshalls Creek near Stroudsburg. If you want to go a little south, there's lots of great campgrounds in the Lancaster area ... we'll be at Mill Bridge this weekend. Good luck, John
I just purchased a pre-owned Big Country 3490RB from a dealer here in NJ. My question is whether there are bypass valves to control the 3 slides so I could just extend one and not the others if desired. My thought was that if we pulled over and wanted to have a bite to eat I would'nt need to...
Lucy, I had the same issue with our old trailer and found that the slide unit was not sealing correctly and needed to be ajusted by the dealer. We sustained some flooring damage so work to find the cause quickly
I've been looking at a used 2009 Big Country 3490 from a dealer but before making a final decision, I wanted to reach out to current owners. My questions are:
are you generally happy with your rig
are there any known issues with this model I should be aware of
any problems towing with my 2006...
