Jon & Mary, Gonna' high jack a thread here. So, how is the new 3585 working out? I'd also like to know how you rate your experience with Wichita RV.

Late 2011 changes for 3585RL - Our ordered Unit is different from Early 2011

The wife and I got to take a look at Jon & Mary's new 3585 today. Thanks again Mary for letting us peek. We are trying to sell the house and go full time in a new 3585. The changes we heard about had us curious so we wanted to see. We like the maple wood and Lasso interior. I thought I had...

New decor and wood colors for Bighorn

We're also hoping to get our hands on a 3585 soon. Our dealer says the Cherry is discontinued and the maple is standard, but looks a lot like the cherry did - according to the factory.

    2011 Model Year Bighorn Changes

We are looking at the 3585RL. We like the extra closet and pantry next to the stairs. We also like the location and appearance of the stairs. I saw some photos of a customers new 3585 on here a couple weeks ago and the fireplace and desk swapped locations. Kind of liked it, but the dealer had...

    Surge Protector

Thank you Dave. Here's another rookie question - I've read here about 30A adapters. If I pull into a space with my 50A coach and the pedestal is 30A do I need an adapter in order to hook up? Marty & Mickey

And the electrical management system is different than the surge protector? Marty & Mickey

    Packing before moving

You know this is a rookie here after you read this question. Momma seems to think that before we tow the 5'th wheel down the road she will have to empty all the cupboards and pack everything up in the basement; pots, pans, dishes, food, etc. Please tell me it ain't so folks. I thought those...

Bighorn 3670RL dual pane windows,R factor and added weight,

Ok. 60,000 miles is a pretty good test. And 57,000 Km, too. Whatever the heck a Km is. :>) So, now I wonder why dealers try to steer customers away from them. More profit for them it would seem to me. Marty & Mickey

Bighorn 3670RL dual pane windows,R factor and added weight,

We are considering converting from real estate to full timing in a Big Horn. I think I have hooked up with a very good dealer who answers all my questions with a history lesson of RV's. A couple of the guys at the dealership have been in the industry for 30 years from the factory to the...

    Daily mileage

I have heard that some folks will stop overnight in a Wal-Mart parking lot. On a multi-day trip would you recommend stopping in an RV park instead? Marty & Mickey

    Daily mileage

The house goes on sale in 6 weeks. Once the money's in the bank we'll order a new BH3585 and an F350. Going full time! Never spent a single night in a 5th wheel. Lot's of questions. Here's one for starters. We'll probably relocate 2 or 3 times per year. Was wondering how many miles per day...

    Wanna Be's

Marty & Mickey here. We've spent the last few months talking about becoming full time fifth wheelers. Pretty radical since we've never owned an RV of any kind before. After visiting many dealers, both in person and virtually, we've been drawn to the Big Horn. Stumbled on this site a few...
