    Gel Coat Cracking with Decals

We have the exact same damage to the decals on our Road Warrior.....they only lasted 2 years :-(

ATF: Road Warrior - Sofa Options

LOL, well, we did a poor man modification - just use a piece of wood that tucks back under the sofa seat cushions. It is long enough and wide enough to span the opening, but still tucks back out of sight when not in use. To make a bed, we pull the board and middle seat cushions out from under...

    Leave slides out or in?

We currently have our rig parked at a resort, and 'visit' it every few weeks. We always bring the awning in, but were wondering if we should leave our slides out, or bring them in every time we leave? Also, we turn the city water off, but should we bleed the lines as well? Any other tips for...

    Things I do

I hauled a horse trailer for years, and am probably better than Dave with the backing & hitching :)

    Things I do

We pretty much follow the same routine as the rest of you - Dave does most of the outside, I do most of the inside. But when we break camp and hitch up, we BOTH make 360 inspections in and out to make sure we haven't missed anything. My only complaint with the whole routine is that on the rare...

    Thanks Jim

LOLOL - that's too funny! I'm the only one who DOES read the forum - then I tell my husband about all the ideas/tips/tricks/maintenance, etc. Now every once in a while, he will have a question and ask me to go search for an answer :-)

    Ladder mounts

Well, we actually cut it in half, mid-way between two rungs. Found a piece of pipe that the ends exactly fit into, and cut that exactly the length between the two rungs. Now when we put it together, the cut ends of the ladder fit exactly together into the pipe (think of it like a cast on a...

Looking to go full time in a Road Warrior.

Hi Jason; Check out tentsfortroops.org. This is an organization of RV parks that offer free stays for military. You might be able to find a place or two on your trip. Where are you headed? My husband is based at Fort Lewis, WA. I agree with Ray - we have dealt with a leaky shower faucet...

    Aren't we funny

My husband asked me once why we don't tent camp any more......it is because I have reached the age where I get up several times during the night and I do NOT want to get dressed to go pee!!!

    Trailer Hitch

What kind of bikes are you hauling? We can fit 3 full-size Harleys in our RW395 - we do need to take the saddlebags off. Pull one up along each side, then the third fits up in between - the rear wheel on the third is a few inches in front of where the floor starts to slope back. We did have...

    AC for the garage

Haven't tried it yet, but we are hoping a box fan in front of the sliding screen door between the coach and the garage in the RW395 will help move more cool air into the garage area. How easy was it to remove that top bunk? I can't imagine us ever using it either......

    Toy Hauler Tie Downs

Our dealer ordered more from the factory for our RW395. We also got wheel chocks from Kuryakyn that don't have to mount to the floor. We can actually fit three Harleys back there if we take the saddlebags off.

    Prospective Owners No Longer

Well, we have two big dogs, and I don't really like to leave them cooped up if we take off on the bikes all day. I'm sure they'd be fine, and there's plenty of room, but it's just a personal preference ...... I'm sure I'll come around :-)

Awesome!! We just took ours out last weekend for the first time. Love it :-) Took the dogs this time, we'll take the motorcycles next time....

    Tents for Troops

We took our maiden voyage in our 365RW last weekend. We had made reservations in advance, checked in and paid their regular rate. But then we were walking our dogs and noticed on their reader board that active duty military stay for free!!! Since my husband is an old soldier who hasn't faded...

    New 305RW Toy Hauler

Awesome:) We just graduated from an Arctic Fox truck camper and a 20' Wells Cargo trailer to a 395RW. Room for both my husband's Street Glide and my Softail Deluxe....

    Wobbly table

Our new 395RW has only two table legs, which makes for a table with more wobble than I like. We had the dealer install a third "volcano" on the underside of the table, shimmed so that the extra leg rests on the floor for stability (but didn't need the "receiver" end drilled into the floor)...
