    Edge Slideout manual operation

I too would like to see more details on the manual operation of the slideout. the slideout on our M22 failed to retract using the switch this weekend and I was dreading the thought of leaving our camper (2.5 hour drive) only to return later to try and fix. Sounded like it wasn't receiving any...

    Edge and a Honda Pilot

We have a 2010 Honda Pilot that we use to pull our M22 Edge. It has a 4500 LB tow rating. Our M22 weighs in at 4,090 lbs with 2 full propane tanks, one battery, and a minimal amount of "stuff". We tow with a weight distributing hitch, anti-sway bar, and brake controller. We always drive with...

Water leaking into trailer around wheel wells?

I local RV dealer started carrying Heartland products. They have two Edges sitting on their lot. I took a few minutes to inspect the new ones and it looks like they are now coming out of the factory with caulking where the wheel well tub meets the exterior wall as well as caulking where the...

    Air conditioner leaking water

Chuck9997's suggestion to postion your RV with a slight incline seems to be the best solution. The exterior metal drip tray (where all the exterior A/C mechanicals sit on) has weep holes and they are all positioned in such a way that would favor the RV sitting at a slight incline.. thanks for...

Water leaking into trailer around wheel wells?

I have another thread started (in General Discussions) that outlines the problem and the solution.. in a nutshell you have to remove the exterior trim around the wheels (about 10 screws and apply a good quality RV caulk where the exterior wall meets the wheel well tub flange. the way it's...

    Air conditioner leaking water

We had the same experience this weekend. Very hot/humid Missouri weekend. I wasn't sure if the condenser froze up (due to low air flow (our fault)).. but water did start pouring in from the vents. When I got home I took off the inside A/C cover (8 screws) as well as the white rooftop A/C...

    Walking on roof of Edge?

Yes, I did as well to inspect our air conditioner. I weigh 185 and it felt very sturdy up there although I stayed on all fours and took my shoes off once I was up there. I also made sure I had no exposed zippers, etc. that might gouge the rooftop.

slideout awnings for Edge Good or bad ?

Hello, I was curious if any Edge owner who's RV had a slideout has ever installed a slideout awning ?. If so what brand did you choose and did you run into any installation problems ? We were considering purchasing one for our M22 but I wasn't sure if Heartland even recommended/condoned...

    Toyota Highlander and M21

Hello, We currently tow an M22 with a 2010 Honda Pilot (Max tow rating of 4500 lbs) and it does a decent job of towing 90% of the time, although I wouldn't feel comfortable taking our set up into any mountainous areas. I definitely feel the lack of power/torque on the steeper grades. I...

Be Sure and Inspect those wheel well tubs after a rain

Hello, We're new to the RV world and have had our Edge M22 for a little under a year now. We love our choice. Outside of few minor inconveniences (intermittant refrig beeping, etc) it's been a great RV. Just wanted to warn other Edge owners to inspect the interior side of their plastic wheel...
