Yes the quage has worked before. Just open one tank initially very slow and then full open. The switch over level works from one tank to the other.

Does the propane gauge show red when empty and green when it is full. My gauge shows red about 1/4 of the window but dosen't change to green or the red does not seem to move in either direction. Thanks for the reply.

Dick, I think that is normal now to only have 2 chairs. Lots of people did not like the space they would take up. We have 4 chairs and they do come in handy at times. Otherwise they can be a PITA. Most people,we did, have unscrewed the table from the floor so it can be moved out from the wall...
