We had a heat pump in a prior trailer. It worked great and used campground electricity but would only work with an outside temperature of 40 degrees and above.

Yes, I removed the regulator from my Weber Q100 and use a 4 foot line with a quick disconnect directly into my low pressure supply from the trailer. Works super and eliminates those small nuisance bottles.

Today and tomorrow will be perfect weather for the Americade--I may take a bike ride tomorrow to check it out.
