    2012 Heartland Landmark Key Largo

We have travelled extensively BUT THIS FIFTH WHEEL HAS NOT. We bought and took possession of this beautiful trailer in January 2012. It was purchased new and delivered to our lot by the dealer, and has never been towed other than that. Over the last two years we have only used the unit seven...

A Bad smell in the MPG

I agree with Cookie, check the LP system. When we first got our Landmark DW complained about a sewer smell. It was intermittent, depending on wind direction at the time. Turned out to be a faulty regulator.

    Frameless windows??

303 Protectant is available at most RV and boating suppliers, as well as some WalMarts, etc.. Unlike ArmorAll, it is UV resistant, and will not, overtime, cause any damage to paint, rubber, vinyl, etc.. I have used it for years on any rubber gaskets as well as tires, after cleaning. Holds up...

    Frameless windows??

Definitely less maintenance. The only thing that really needs to be done on the frameless window is to treat the gaskets that they close on. If you wipe them down with 303 Protectant you will greatly add to their flexibility, as well as keeping them from sticking to the glass. Makes them easier...

How do I tell if I have Aluminum or Stainless Steel valve stems

As far as the valve stems, try a magnet on them. Should be steel or brass, and that will tell the difference. I have been using TST TPMS for three years, and would go with them again, if needed. Good customer service, just call and speak to Dan.

Saw the new Big Country 3690 - Rear Kitchen

We saw that layout, and thought it would be the way for us to go. When we first saw it, at La Mesa RV when we were in Tucson, and the unit had just come in. The battery was low and they couldn't open the slides, and we didn't have time to hang around. We then saw the same unit at La Mesa in...

    Hot water smells

As said, it could be a back up from, or into the sink overflow drain. To cleanout, and freshen the sink drain, and P trap, use baking soda followed with almost boiling water. I do this periodicaly on all sink and shower drains.

    electric coolers

That is not so, with the Edge Star units. They will, if set to 0, go there and hold it. They are fantastic units. On the Compact Appliance website, you can find the sizes and capacities. Go to the website then go to the Edge Star section. It will give you all the info on their units.

    electric coolers

If you are looking for something with the greatest versatility, go to www.compactappliance.com and check out the Edge Star units. They are refrigerator/freezer, and run off either 120 or 12volts. We have one of the 63 quart sized unit, and it is really great. Digital controls, instant power...

    Bad regulator found

Since taking delivery of our new Landmark Key Largo, DW has been having a problem with, what we thought, was a sewer smell. This coach has not moved, nor will it in the future, as long as we own it. I have, through process of elimination, checked all possibilities, or so I thought. Last night...

Shore water not entering the trailer.

Glad to hear the problem was theirs, and not yours. After they work on those systems there is the possibility that a great deal of sediment gets into the system. You might want to check any screen washers on your inlet hose. Just sayin.

    RV Parks Superguide Offer???

This is a scam, of the highest order. We had a lot of trouble with them last summer. They included a lot rv parks in their list, but none had ever heard of them.

    Toilet Paper Question

A second vote for Costco's septic safe. Before that we had used Scott's for years, with no problems.
