Exterior delaminaing and cracking on 2013 3010 Cyclone

What is going on here!? I noticed the rear side wall starting to separate from the core and look like a wave earlier this spring and have been watching it, then I just noticed this crack before leaving this weekend for a trip. I'm really disappointed to find that the skin is glued to plywood...

SOLVED: Generator not providing power to all circuits

Re: Need help with generator not providing power to all circuits Thank you for all the replies... I found the issue. The good thing is it was a cheap fix, the bad news is it's another example of poor workmanship. Like bd2dabone said, I should probably go through all connections to check them...

SOLVED: Generator not providing power to all circuits

Re: Need help with generator not providing power to all circuits The Transfer switch I assume is the metal box with the two relays in it? I removed the cover and unplugged from shore power and with generator off, both relays were open. When I start the generator one of the two relays will...

SOLVED: Generator not providing power to all circuits

I have a 2013 3010 cyclone that just started to have a problem with the power from the generator... I turned the generator on, the lights brightened like normal when the relay kicked but then quickly went back dim running off the battery supply, from this point on I don't have power to about...

    3010 Water tank vent?

Can anyone tell me the easiest way to access the connection for the vent line on the fresh water tank? The first time i filled it i could hear the air venting as it was filling at the hookup.....then it got quiet and next thing i know water was coming out from various spots. I checked behind...

    GVWR clarification on 3010

Pretty much exactly, other than mine are black. Apparantly they went back to the old way for 2013.

    GVWR clarification on 3010

That explains why they're not in the wall, but not why they haven't moved it back closer to the wall. Seems careless, unless maybe their is some sort of code or reason they can't put it where it makes more logical sense? Oh well, it cost about $8 for an outlet and a foot of wire and the problem...

    Garage Capacity

I'm not sure why heartland makes things so unclear with wieght ratings on everything with these trailers? But the answer I got when I was trying to figure out the correct gvwr for my 3010 was that the garage is rated for 2500 ibs but are "over engineered" and can handle 3000 ibs. I was told...

    GVWR clarification on 3010

Yeah, I don't get it! Ideally it would be on the wall... but that is too difficult at this point. It would require zero extra effort to move it towards the back of the cabinets rather then placing it where they did.

    GVWR clarification on 3010

It only uses the happy jack to lift the empty rack up out of the way or to pivot the skis that are pretty much balanced on the pivot point... you could pivot them with one hand. but by lowering it, it allows it to pivot. Hard to explain. If I get a opportunity I will get a pick of the side...

    GVWR clarification on 3010

Update... got it loaded for the first trip. Built a rack that mounts in place of the bottom bed and raises up to the ceiling when not in use or rests on a frame mounted to the walls when down that allow the skis to pivot when you lower the bunk below the pivot point to load using an extension...

    GVWR clarification on 3010

Thanks porthole... as it is almost spring, at least it feels like it here on the east coast, I'll have some time to think about it. I'll probably wait until fall before making a purchase.

    GVWR clarification on 3010

I agree, I prefer the 4 door design. I wonder how this space is used... I'm sure it's not dead space? It does explain how they now have the option for a 32" bedroom tv... I was wondering how that would fit looking at the older design.

    GVWR clarification on 3010

A little off topic... but can anyone make a recomendation on a cover for the 3010? I'm debating on the idea of getting one for the off seasons. I want to be able to access the garage when I need it without a major hassle. I've seen some designed for toyhaulers, I just didn't know how easy or...

That's a good question about the bunk! I have no idea. Yeah I assume it must be the 8' door.

    GVWR clarification on 3010

Here is a pic the dealer sent me. It has the same roof line as the bigger trailers with the rear spoiler which gave them enough room to be able to add the 2nd awning. I believe the grey rear door is new too. Yeah, Scott seams like he is really good to deal with. He even offered to stay late, if...

    GVWR clarification on 3010

The dealer got my trailer from heartland this past friday. They sent me a picture of the plate, because the curiosity was killing me. It came through with a rating of 15,500ibs. The dry wieght was up a little at 11,322, I assume because of the new raised roof line in the back and added second...

    GVWR clarification on 3010

Today I got a hold of Mike in service at heartland, who originally told me everything he has list it as 14,000, then I asked if he could check on the line to confirm that, and he returned my call after speaking to an engineer who told him they have increased the wieght to 15,500. Then I asked...

    GVWR clarification on 3010

It does have 2 7000ibs axles with E tires... that's why I assumed they just made a mistake with the GVWR, or at least whish they did.

    GVWR clarification on 3010

I agree, it could be the case, it seemed like are discussion was going in circles. But he insisted it was designed to be loaded for dry camping (water, gas, propane, gear, etc) plus hold 2500 pounds in the garage (which makes logical sense, just doesn't explain the rating). Hope to get an...

    GVWR clarification on 3010

I understand the rating statements, but it just does not make any common sense. How can a trailer that is claimed by heartland to be able to carry 2500 pounds in the garage only legally leave you with a few hundred pounds for everything else? I guess what I'm saying is I thought they made a...

    GVWR clarification on 3010

I was afraid of that. My only other hope is that on one of the posts under the topics of frame area, say that the newer 300 c trailers may in fact have been upgraded to a 16000 GVRW from 14000.... and if that is the case maybe the 3010 has been too, since they list the same wieght rating for...

    GVWR clarification on 3010

Hopefully you are mistaken Ray, thank you for the reply. I can't believe this is possible. Why even have a garage with this low of a capacity rating? Hopefully someone from the factory can confirm this or explain it better. And what the options might be to upgrade the axles, wheels, tires...

    GVWR clarification on 3010

I ordered a 2012 Cyclone 3010 and have become concerned with the weight ratings that are given on the specs. I assumed when they list the GVWR as 14,000, that that meant you could have 14,000 on the axles pluss the hitch weight of 2,300, giving you a total of 16,300, then leaving you 5,048 ibs...
