Re: 2021 - Goshen Rally - Deferred
Just trying to figure out how other rallies, shows, and sporting events have had spectators and attendees without an issue and Heartland wont allow a rally where social distancing happens naturally? For instance the super bowl just had 25,000 spectators in one...
Hello all... Looking for help. I am looking to install a third AC in our garage of our 2015 Road Warrior 415. I have already asked the factory if it was pre wired. It is not and I have verified that. I have tried to see if I could run some 12/2 wire to the garage through the ceiling...
All,
I am also in the market for a new truck soon. Time to upgrade. Can I get a pin too if possible? I'm not currently a disabled veteran but will be when I retire. Will that count? Lol. Thanks in advance if anyone can help me out.
Why can't there be a rate considered for small children? After doing the survey I assumed that was in the works. I honestly think Heartland is pushing away a demographic that could be targeted for sales and interest in the owners club. My children won't eat a 1/4 of an adult. And I see there...
Anyone have any experience with adding additional tie down points in the garage floor? Would like to put them near my tires on the ranger so I can use tire bonnet straps easily.
All,
I am also looking for Sailun 235/80R16 Tires for my Heartland Road Warrior.... Unfortunately I ordered two from Ron and Performance Trailer and Braking and he sent me Sailun 235/85R16.... Too big. He states that his suppliers... TREDIT dont carry the the 80R16. Has anyone had any luck...
Hey all!
Kelsea and I are super excited, we take delivery of our new Heartland Road Warrior 415RW. Here is the very important question... Where do we put our Owners Club Plaque?? We had a North Trail prior to this so it was just stuck on the back. Not sure if it is a good idea to put it on...
I have decided on a Reese 25K Elite that just drops in. Main reason I went for it, the dealer had it used and I got 80% of it included in my deal. Cant beat it for $250 cash. Thanks for all the input.
I have a 2014 Ford F350 Long bed with the ford prep package. Im leaning towards the Reese Elite. Now my question is on the weight. As I understand the weight rating is based off of the total weight of the camper. Dry it is about 14,000k pounds. Shouldnt an 18K hitch suffice? Am I going to...
Its been awhile since I posted here... But I just traded in my old North Trail for a Road Warrior :) I need a fifth wheel hitch now. My dad (2psnapod2) swears by Reese or Curt. But how do I know which one I need? I bought the 2015 Road Warrior 415. Thanks for any help.
Mike,
My question to you on this. Did you do a thorough pre inspection of these items before you left the lot? I had all of these issues as well. But had most of them fixed before I left. I love my North Trail.
Ive put in a lot of modifications, many that probably should have been done at...
I wish they sold the brown colored ones... I need one of these for my bathroom too. Would like to keep that one closed at night, so the rest of the coach stays warmer.
Silverado,
My outdoor kitchen has a TV... does yours not have a TV? This is what that is for as far as I can understand from the way you described it on your post.
Personally I don't appreciate the sarcasm and your need to attack my intellect. I can see that this thread is getting no where fast.
Enjoy your Heartland.
North Trails are not typically designed for full timing, that is probably why your tub doesn't have the support you are looking for. I have no issues with my tub being weak and I am roughly 200 pounds.
I didn't skim over your post. The bath tub doesnt seem like an issue to me so I picked...
Kaos, a thorough PDI should have found all of these issues. If your having issues submit the trailer for a warranty repair. Some of the things look like features you wanted extra, like extra tub supports?
Please don't be so quick to blame Heartland on this. They after all do mass produce...
Nah, what happened is the extension and handle came loose. The extension and handle is just threaded on. The valve still works fine... I was able to open and close without issue with a pair of pliers. Heartland is sending me a new extension and handle to replace the one that fell off. I will...
Good idea. I was able to find a nice PEX tool by Kobalt on eBay for a decent price. This way I always have one. My father recommended the Kobalt tool as he has one as well. Lowe's used to sell them, but I couldnt find one. But did find one on eBay. If anyone doesn't know, pex is very easy...
Re: 2013 North American Rally
Kelsea and I are hoping to make it. Depends on how our new little one will be doing then. If we make it for the golf outing I would be interested.
I just wanted to let everyone know how please I am with the Heartland service department in Elkhart, IN.
I have recently discovered that the fender skirt is cracking under the screws and that my grey water pull handle is no longer attached.
I emailed JD at Heartland Service and he responded...
I recently installed a new kitchen faucet and installed a drinking water filter and faucet. The pictures show the install. I'd be happy to help anyone interested in how I did the modification.
Within the modification I decided to redo all of the plastic pex fitting and install brass pex...
Glad you figured it out. I am planning on replacing all of my pex fittings (plastic) to bronze fittings. My parents had a leak in their Landmark and we determined it was from a faulty plastic pex fitting. Dont want to have to experience that. So im being pre-emptive. Replacing the kitchen...
I also did what peg and mike do. I bought a 10 foot ladder and I keep it in the back of my truck. It is nice to be able to move the ladder to the exact spot you want to look at. I bought mine at Lowe's but camping world does sell quite a few highly collapsible versions.
Re: frige in outdoor kitchen 32BUDS and other issues
Why not just submit the issue through Danby and get the fridge replaced?
Not sure why you are having issues getting a hold of Brandon. I have always had great success contacting him.
Re: frige in outdoor kitchen 32BUDS and other issues
Im thinking this could just be an issue with your fridge. I have the same fridge and camped in 110 degree weather for a week this past summer and the fridge worked perfectly. You may want to try to contact Danby and do a warranty claim.
The NT does have wide track suspension. In addition the 2012 versions and older have much more clearance from the ground. The springs were reconfigured. They were below the axle before. Now they are above the axle. Just a few tid bits.
You need to get yourself a winterizing adapter for the city water input. Then blow all the air out with a air compressor, no more than 50 psi. Then add anti freeze to all of the drains, just enough to coat the bottom of the tanks.
Camping World has a few styles available all on sale, since...
