fridge in outdoor kitchen 32BUDS and other issues

So, I finally got to speak with Jim, the CS manager at Heartland. He was friendly and understanding of my issue. He agreed to replace the unit. He's also convinced that there is something wrong with the unit. He further commented on Danby stating that they are well aware of the installation that...

fridge in outdoor kitchen 32BUDS and other issues

Re: frige in outdoor kitchen 32BUDS and other issues I have spoken to Danby. They won't replace a unit that wasn't purchased from an authorized retailer and without a receipt. Also, even if I could get by that, which I can't, they won't replace it because it is installed in a manner that its...

fridge in outdoor kitchen 32BUDS and other issues

Thanks, me too. Of course, it hasn't been in the shop for 3 months over the fridge. This is the last of a long list. Actually, most of it is minor and should have never left the factory. There was nothing with the fridge that would have been caught on a PDI. It runs and cools. Anyway, most of...

fridge in outdoor kitchen 32BUDS and other issues

Re: frige in outdoor kitchen 32BUDS and other issues Thanks for the reply. I agree. I also camped in over 100 degrees this summer ( part of the 3 weeks I've had the thing). Setting the thermostat, one click over, it would freeze and bust cans, one click the other way, it would be quite warm...

fridge in outdoor kitchen 32BUDS and other issues

Re: frige in outdoor kitchen 32BUDS and other issues Thanks for the reply. As noted, I've attempted to contact Heartland in regard to this issue, to no avail. So far 4 calls and 4 messages have been left for Brandon. I have spoke to others but they refuse to take over for Brandon, which I...

fridge in outdoor kitchen 32BUDS and other issues

So, I've had my 2012 32BUDS since the last week of April 2012. Since then, its been in the 2 different shops basically the entire time, except for less than a month. However, I haven't really been upset with Heartland during this time, even though most of these issues should have never passed QA...

ATF: North Trail - Fridge-outdoor kitchen

Thanks for the reply Dan. It seems logical to deal with the manufacture of the appliance after the warranty period of the coach builder has expired. Of course, I'm a bit new to the RV world but I would think there are dozens if not hundreds of components that are in this coach that Heartland...

ATF: North Trail - Dimple / Indentation on front of travel trailer

My 32 Buds has a dimple or wave in the front cap as well. Not severe but it's noticeable for sure. Not sure if its heat related or what...

ATF: North Trail - Fridge-outdoor kitchen

Oddly, after very little use, the Danby brand fridge has gone out in the outdoor kitchen in my 2012 32 buds. The light still comes on so it's not a circuit issue. Is this something I need to take in? I'm having a pretty big issue with my service dept at the dealership and I'm currently trying to...

ATF: North Trail - Touch Audio

I would certainly agree Cliff. The Jensen touch screen system and audio are horrible at best. Frankly, I haven't even tried to play a DVD in ours yet. It's usually locked up when I try to turn it on. We've only had our 32buds for a month or so and it's been in the shop for 3 weeks. We haven't...

ATF: North Trail - Weak A/C volume output thru vents

@Phil- sorry, re-read your post and the key word was 'replacement'. Sorry for the thick head lol. It was late, what can I say? Hehe@ The Galants- thanks so much. I'll look into the closable vents too. I plan on doing a mod this weekend that hopefully will help. But I can see why they wouldn't...

ATF: North Trail - Weak A/C volume output thru vents

I haven't seen them in a NT but my 2010 Sunset Trail had close-able vents. They basically looked the same but had little wings you could pinch close.

ATF: North Trail - Weak A/C volume output thru vents

Whelp, I picked my new 2012 NT 32 buds from its 3 week visit to the dealer. It's been in the shop since I got it. We haven't even camped in it yet. Of course, the most important reason for the visit was this air duct issue. The tech stated there was a " really cheesy" flimsy piece of fiber...

ATF: North Trail - Weak A/C volume output thru vents

Well, I'm impressed. I received a pro-active call this morning first thing from the factory, a Mr. JD Adams. He was very interested in this issue. After asked some detailed questions he requested me to provide his contact info to the dealer so that he may speak to them before they start working...

ATF: North Trail - Weak A/C volume output thru vents

Thanks Bill, wow, after reading that thread it seems like this is an old problem. Surely they have addressed this at the factory since 2006!?! Mine is a 2012 unit. It will be interesting to see if it is actually the same issue or something else. I might pop the cover off in a bit and see what I...

ATF: North Trail - Weak A/C volume output thru vents

Thanks. That's kinda what I thought. I will probably have them look at another NT just to see.

ATF: North Trail - Weak A/C volume output thru vents

Upon delivery I just took on my 2012 32Buds I couldn't help but notice that the vents barely have any output. It's equipped with a Coleman 15k unit. All the 'dumps' are shut. The two vents closest to the door, forward to the unit, seem to blow stronger but not really normally. All the others...

ATF: North Trail - 32 buds

Ahh, upon a closer look I understand now. My thought was to swap the two couches. They are the same size and I dont think it would look too out of place. But, it would definitely take some work. That rear couch really sits on a platform which raises it for the trundle. That whole section would...

How important would an outside kitchen be to you?

Personally, I love the outdoor kitchen on the 32buds. It was one of the selling points for me. With five of us, it gets cramped inside. Not a lot of space in the inside kitchen. I'd much rather cook outside. I guess it comes down to personal preference but for me it's a no-brainer.

ATF: North Trail - 32 buds

Humm, interesting. I wouldnt have thought of that. Seems like the air mattress folded out wouldn't be level because of the rise of the trundle bed. Seems like its a good 4 inch rise off the deck. How did this end up working out? Also, did you just move the couch from the bunk area to the living...

    32Buds on the radar...

Whelp, we are most likely gonna pull the trigger on a 2012 32Buds tomorrow or the next day. We are kinda new to RVing and recently bought a 2011 Sunset Trail St30Re. It was like new and a really good deal but the rear entertainment set up just wasn't too cool for our family of 5. After doing...
