Anyone traveling on Rt 331 through Alabama & Florida, Montgomery to Destin, look out for the new small town money maker. A SUV parked on the side of the road with "Photo Enforcement" signs just before. I was snapped in Luverne, later on return trip saw it further south in Brantley.
Had this same problem with my Cyclone. My plug and receptacle had to be taken apart and all connection redone. male and female mating surfaces realigned / straightened. All this weight hanging off the side of the trailer causes problems. Seems like the connections would be better coming out the...
I have more issues with low hanging electric and cable lines over the roadway. Keep taking out cable lines on my street when I come back from trips. Cable company won't move higher.
Always 3/4 fill mine. More of a damper for trailer up/down movement than anything else. Only time we did not we had toilet water all over the bath from the up/down movement of the trailer. Does not happen with a 3/4tank.
Does the new label make it the correct one? What are the differences between the two?
Putting lipstick on a pig doesn't change a thing, it is still a pig.
Just saying.
Re: Auxiliary Fuel Tank For Truck Bed
My cover rolls up. Have to do this for my 5th wheel anyway. Standard tank plus aux fuel tank gives me a range of 1000 miles before refill. And it can be removed when not needed. Stopping whenever I want do not need to.
This is what I use. A 58 gallon, polyethylene transfer tank. Self contained, just add 12 volt power source. In bed on trips, out when not. Also used for my diesel tractor. A little pricey.
Got the same problem. Where are you purchasing the replacement seal from? Any information (Name of Item, Part Number, et.) will be greatly appreciated.
Just purchased and installed a new 50a to 30a adaptor. Heard a loud metallic sound when powered back up. Sounded like the Transfer switch. Time will tell if this was the problem.
Still does not answer why a low voltage battery would shut off 1/2 the 120v AC outlets and livingroom air.
Bedroom air works great when low battery condition exists and hooked up to my 30amp home service. Livingroom air does not, thermostat has power, lights, display but will not turn on air. No add-on components that I know about. Bought this unit brandnew. This low Battery condition does affect...
Will replace the 30amp adaptor, had not thought about the transfer switch. Not having problems with the 12 volt Dc, lights, etc. The battery when low on charge cuts off some of my 120 volt AC systems, middle area of the camper. When the battery is charged everything works.
Setting the scene.
2012 Heartland Cyclone 300C Toyhauler.
50amp system through adaptor plugged into 30amp home service.
No tripped breakers in stick house or Toyhauler. All 12 volt fuses OK.
Power to full garage, fridge, microwave, vacuum 120 volt outlet in passthru, bedroom 120 volt outlets...
I have a 2012 Cyclone 300C Toyhauler with generator problems. My 5.5 HGJAB will not start. Worked great during the winter and spring when I exercised it monthly. Went to start it in July and would not run. Where is the fuel pump located on this model? Use only 100% gas.
Any other suggestions...
I had issues with the dealer also concerning a full blown walkthrough prior to purchase. Slides out, water & electric hooked up. Salesperson stated they do not do this until you sign papers. Told salesperson that if I was spending $70 grand they would do it or I would walk. I walked.
17.5" G114's are not any bigger overall, almost same size a stock junk. Only the rim size changes. These tires are more of a truck tire. Just put 2600 miles on mine to the Keys and back. I believe around $2600.00 for four, mounted on aluminum rims and balanced.
Purchased thru jmesales.com. Cover from Italy. Distributer located in Miami. A little pricey but frees up the bed and no possible conflict with my warranty.
About 2000 miles on my TowMax and a baseball sized bubble appeared on the sidewall of one tire. Taking the plunge, have ordered 4 new 17.5" aluminum wheels and Goodyear 215/75R17.5 LRH tires. Expensive but hopefully this will eliminate some of my worry.
Ordered my F450 CCDRW, nothing fancy but I can tow almost anything I want. Go for the 5'th wheel / Gooseneck prep package. Roll up factory installed tonneau cover is nice. Difference between a F350 DW & F450 not much in price, big difference in towing.
