    Roof replacement

I have a 2011 Elkridge Fifth wheel model 29bhck. It has a rotted spot in the wood near the ladder about 18"x18". I can find no holes or tears in the rubber. Edges at wall seem tight, no cracked call anywhere... Needless to say I am not happy since I bought the full version nit new in 2012...

    No power in Rig

I hook my Elkridge 5th wheel up to 120vac power when parked at home. Today I came home from a trip (no problems on the trip) and after unloading the camper I went to plug it back in and the GFCI outlet I use popped of. I checked everything to be sure there was nothing on. Tried a different...

    Broken Cable on Grey Tank

So, now that I am 1700 miles from home i have found that the grey tank #1 (my shower/sink holding tank for bathroom) cable in my 2011 Elkridge Bunkhouse 5th wheel has broken and the valve is partly open. Good news is that it does drain but very slowly. Anyone ever replaced one of these before...

    Dinette versus Table

We have a 2011 Elkridge 29 BHCK. my wife hates the table and chairs. We have decided to replace it with a booth dinette. Anyone else done this before? We liked the availability of another sleeping area as well as the table and chairs not being comfortable for us. We have ordered it at the...

    ATF: ElkRidge - Booth Dinette

I have a 2011 29BHCK with the standard table and 4 chairs. I would like to install a booth dinette. Is there such a thing to fit this unit? I looked at a newer Elkridge with an 11 foot slide at the Hershey PA show a few weeks ago. It was the identical layout in the living area as mine. Same...

    Additional Electrical Outlets

An outlet or two on each end or centered in the headboard of the bed in the 29BHCK would be extremely helpful! The only outlet in my bedroom is the one in the ceiling for the TV. In today's Techie world an outle in the headboard for charging cell phones, using CPAP breathing machines, alarm...

Retired Gent, His Corvette and a Cop

After a much bitter divorce a 70 year old man took most of his remaining savings and bought himself a brand new Corvette. He was bitter over his wife leaving him for another man and knowing she loved Corvette's; and red ones at that, he bought a brand new red Corvette in hopes she would one day...

An electrical outlet in the master bedroom

One located in the headboard area of the queen bed in the front bedroom of my 29BHBCK would be nice for a cell phone or alarm clock. The only outlet in the bedroom is the one in the ceiling for the TV.

Access Panel for water pump in the basement area

I would like to see an access panel added to basement of the 5th wheel campers... My 2011 BHCK did not have one. You needed to remove the entire rear basement wall to access the water pump and valves for winterizing. I have since cut and modified my own panel, but I am sure a factory job would...

    Plumbing question

I just winterized my 2011 Elkridge 29bhck. I had issues removing the panel to get to the valves that needed to be turned to allow the pump to transfer the antifreeze to the plumbing. Is there an easier way? I am thinking of cutting the panel into two pieces and attaching a backing to the side...

I am looking for input into campgrounds in Florida that are either Ocean Front or Gulf Front. Anyone have any ideas for a great private park that is child friendly and right on the beach, or at least beachfront? I appreciate your responses. We are heading there in early April.

Ok I am confused Power Protection

I have a new Elkridge 5th wheel camper. It has 50 amp service. We only have one A/C unit, a 32 inch TV, Fridge, gas/Elect. water heater and Micro. I have stayed at places that only have 30 amp service. I know I can adapt down for power. I know I can not run everything at once as well, so...

    Suspension Suggestions

I have a Dodge Ram 2500 6.7L Cummins 4x4. WE just bought a 2011 Elkridge 29BHCK. All of the weights are within the acceptable range, however the pin weight is almost at the tip of my cargo rating when the camper is loaded. When I brought it home the other day it seemed to bounce the truck a...
