Tom, is this across all Heartland brands that they have changed to the Mor-Ryde steps? I love my Glow Steps and the Mor-Ryde steps would be a deal breaker for me too, if we were to replace our current rig. I DO NOT like the Mor-Ryde step system.

We found a very close match for our cabinets at either Lowe’s or Home Depot...can’t remember which store as it has been awhile since we bought the stain.

I’m not sure on adjusting the tension...have a couple that need that too. But I leave mine pulled down while on the road and have had no problems...other than one of them falling off the cornice board, which was a first in the two years we have owned and traveled cross country with this rig.

I agree! Awesome rally! Tom & Sherry were gracious hosts and everyone had a great time. The Traveling Talleys have enjoyed our time here in Red Lodge and are already planning a return visit to this area.

Malcolm was able to install them fairly quickly by himself...even after one "oops" installing the bolts (put them in the wrong way). Our son helped him correct that oops. :D

Love my GlowSteps! Easy to use once you get past the small learning curve and very stabile.

Hi Joanie, we use a mobile AT&T hot spot (mifi unit) for our internet connection. My husband, Malcolm (MCTalley), works from "home". Like Erika mentioned, it depends on your locations as we have found that sometimes we don't get a good phone/hot spot signal and other times, it gets a great signal.

We travel with a cat and she rides in the truck in a medium size dog carrier with a bedding pad. No, she is not happy being in the carrier and lets us know for about the first 15 minutes of our drive. She usually settles down after that, unless the road gets bumpy. I agree with several others...

I removed the side curtains on my valances and recovered the ones on our bedroom. I just stapled the new fabric over the original fabric. Not a problem at all, other than getting my mitered corners correct as I used a pinstriped upholstery fabric. I'll see if I have pictures of them on our blog.
