Ok, so I called Venture and the people there were really nice and they sold me a new Venture motor 9000 pk for 125 plus ten bucks shipping. Got it in five days and it went in easy, only two bolts to attach and I connected the wiring and it worked! Yeah! Thanks again for all the help! Venture...

No kidding. So I get to Lake Havasu and I buy another jack at walmart and use them and the front jack manuel crank to easily raise the house(our fiver ) up and unhook. Worked like a charm and I felt good about the safety and not overstressing the landing gear box. Now to get the part!

Has anyone replaced their sink in their 2008 3400rl Bighorn. I tried a search but no luck finding any threads. Ours is terribly stained and while my wife scours it often with a magic eraser it would be so nice to have a stainless steel sink.

Yup it was the plastic gearbox and it broke when one of the plastic legs sheared off; The tech told me that the legs go up and down with a worm gear and that there is no danger of a sudden fall when the gear box and motor are removed. So the part is on order and hopeully will be shipped today...

The motor runs after I reconnect it but the bushing doesn't turn when reattached. It does turn when its not attached, maybe its the gearbox that is attached to the motor.

The motor runs when the extend or retract button is pushed and the bushing that connects with the gear box turns but when I reattach the motor and push the button the motor runs but it doesn't turn.

This just happened to me and the front legs don't work. I have a generator prep and so my question is are the nuts located above the generator prep on the front left(door side) or do I access them by taking off the bottom cover of the fifth wheel?

As we boondock often, I want to get an inverter to run the tv and satellite reciever and the laptop and charge the cell phones,(not all at once). Will a Black and Decker 750 watt inverter work?(sold at walmart)? Is it ok to plug it into the 12 volt receptical above the desk in my 2008 3400rl?

Your plan is as good as any. Trying to outdrive a massive storm is a bad idea as the block commnity building is safer than your vehicle. We are in San Antonio and the storm was just east of us. (Massive looking lighting) Type in tornado safety and loof for the noaa tornado safety rules.
