We stayed in site 65..I pull with a semi and haul a CY4200. So I'm about 72 feet long and was able to fit.
Here is a shaky vid that I looked at before booking.

We stayed here earlier this year:

Staff was very friendly and it was a very quiet park. Just around the corner from SDC.
MPG all depends on how heavy my foot is. If I keep it around 62 i get around 8mpg.
Cost is all about miles. The lower the miles, the more you'll pay. Some folks buy them with higher miles that have had a good service history and spend about 20K + - and have really good trucks.
I'm currently pulling my Cyclone 4200 with a 2013 Volvo 780 since last year and will never go back. The difference in pulling and ride comfort is amazing.
In Missouri I was able to get it re titled as a MotorHome. No CDL........No weigh stations..........No log books. Just drive it like you...
Hi MelanieR,
Not sure what model Cyclone you have but on my 4200, there are two white hoses next to the front main door. I had to cut a hole to allow them through on mine.
So pretty much in the same area, good to know. Wife and I have talked about maybe trying to get time off from work to go to that one since it is so close.

No problem. I can get you some pictures if that will help. The location you said is exactly where it's at though. Not a fan of drilling on the outside or inside!
I'm in Holden, about 1.5 hours southeast of Kansas City. You're closer to the St. Louis side right?
Well AJ sent all the info over to service and I got a call from a gentleman named Mike. Explained exactly what was going on and what was happening. Think he may have found the problem, that junction box in the pic above, should actually be the transfer switch. He has no idea why there would be a...
I only have to turn off the 15 amp breaker for the refer. Sorry re read that post and did say main breaker.
Agreed though would be nice to figure out how things are wired.
Thought I'd comment on this as well as these units seem so different.
Mine has the full screen door, the door with the half screen installed, and the gas struts installed but on the inside and at the bottom.
Well still nothing from Heartland on this. Though I haven't been too aggressive on the matter and just took them on their word they would get back with me. Will have to give Camping World some kuddos on the fact they took it on themselves and sent me a 2000 watt inverter to help with all the...
Yes, all works on the generator.
Waiting to hear from AJ Jones....have an email in with him. Bought from Camping World, supposedly no changes were made by them.
Well what fun would a new rig be if everything worked? Was able to pull the "microwave" pigtail from the inverter. That had the microwave and both tv's on it......after I did that. All works as I would expect on inverter then on generator and then back on inverter.
While waiting on Heartland to get back with me found out some more interesting things. While on battery and inverter on.......I have power to my microwave, refrigerator, bedroom tv, and the garage tv. Isn't that a bit much for a 1000w inverter?
I must of got a good one. So to test this........I started the generator (inverter off).....no power to fridge. Turned on inverter.....pop......gfci tripped. No power to fridge. Turned off generator.....reset gfci...........fridge is on. Shouldn't I be able to run the inverter and just leave it...
Well problem fixed. Checked for power at the junction box and had good voltage, decided to check the breaker box.............15amp was tripped. Now I'm just more confused though, how was I getting power while on generator and where is the transfer switch located???
Thanks, i'll go check and see if that pig tail they have wired in is indeed supplying power to that leg. Here's how mine is setup. Right from the inverter to the junction box, then in a wire loom down and into the bottom of the camper. No transfer switch that I can see.
Well I finally worked all the little bugs out of my 2013 BigHorn and was bored so I traded it in and got a 2016 Cyclone 4200. ;)
Picked it up from Camping World in Rossford, OH. Getting ready for the shake down trip to the FL Keys here in a few weeks. Having a problem with the residential...
Re: Bighorn 3855FL Waste Water Drain Issue
Well after MANY emails and lots of phone calls. Issue has been resolved. There ended up being a Y connector installed backwards to start with. With that the issue of the drain lines being parallel could only be resolved by dropping the connections for...
All,
Felt the need to put this out here, just so folks know about the waste water issue with the 2013 BigHorn 3855FL. I've had problems since it was purchased with the waste tanks completely emptying. Would always have about 5-10 gallons of waste after dumping that would still be in the lines...
We are looking to go to Bryn Mawr resort in St. Augustine in July of '13. It is right on the beach............looks to be kid friendly and close to many activities.
