Received and installed my new furnace motor before we came back North. Hard to believe how much quieter the new one is. Thanks for all the replies. I appreciate the help.
I contacted Heartland Service and they said their supplier would not have the motor in stock for 4-6 weeks.( if then) In one short week the price went from $230 to $280. Ridiculous! The Suburban manual that came with my RV was for the wrong furnace. I ordered a new motor on Amazon for delivery...
Our rear window was leaking after a hard rain. I noticed that the rubber seal around the window had shrunk leaving a small gap. I filled the gap with sealant but I need to replace the rubber seal. Need help locating correct seal. Thanks
We have a Suburban Furnace that we recently replaced the “mother board”. Now the furnace motor sounds like the bearings are going bad. The motor is a Model SFV-35Q ( 5212311). Where can I find a new motor? All online suppliers indicate out of stock- maybe 4 to 6 weeks wait time. Does Heartland...
I thought I would update my post from three years ago. 2021 is coming to an end and I think we all are hopeful for a better 2022. The past two years have been tough on all of us. So " Merry Christmas to all" Stay safe and take care of yourselves!!
Thanks again. I always know that I can get suggestions on the members of this forum. Right now there is no handrail so it can be hazardous with three steps. Thanks and stay safe.
Hello, I now this is a long shot but did anybody come up with a modification to install hand rails on the stairs going up to the bedroom. Three stairs with no hand railing can be a challenge for an old gomer like me. Thanks in advance for your suggestions.
Danemayer, Of course that is my "take" The first fan died a few months after the warranty expired. I called the fan manufacturer and my comment is exactly what the customer service said to me over the phone. They offered to send me out a replacement at cost or about $60.00. I guess sometimes...
Thanks for the reply. The rocker panel switch is clearly marked ceiling fan. There is also a rocker switch marked " awning receptacle" and it powers a 110 volt outlet. The ceiling fan is definitely 110 volt but it appears to be controlled by a switch on the panel. Right now the ceiling fan is...
Ceiling fan inoperative after less than one year with replacement from manufacturer at "cost". 12 volts at Rocker switch but no light on fan. 110 circuit breaker not blown but no fan operation. Any suggestions or am I looking at replacing fan at Home Depot?
Hard to believe that 2018 is almost over. I hope and pray that it has been a good year for everyone in the Heartland community. Merry Christmas! Take care of yourself in the New Year!
Not really received a definitive answer. Biggest problem is the unreliability of the WIFI at the RV park. Some thermostats will automatically reconnect some will not. My son and daughter in law have one at their house and it " learns" their habits and adjusts the temperature on it's own. It...
Our snowbird time in SC is coming to an end soon so we are making plans to visit Charleston next month before we head home to Ohio. Probably going to stay at the Mount Pleasant KOA. Oak Plantation gets the highest reviews but the traffic and congestion comments made me lean towards the KOA...
Re: EVENT: Heartland Chapter Rally: OH, Lebanon - 8/17/2018 to 8/19/2018
Patti and I will be attending the Ohio rally. We have reserved site# 502 Thursday through Sunday. We are really looking forward to it.
I agree it's certainly not worth putting any money into it. It is working now. When the DVD ejects and you leave it alone it will automatically reload. After several attempts it will eventually reload and work OK. I'm a firm believer if it's not broke, don't fix it.
Tried to load DVD and it will temporarily load then eject. Tried several different DVDs and CDs and the same result. There is no other DVD or CD in the unit. Any suggestions?
Question: With the battery removed and the RV fully connected to your truck, can you raise and lower your landing gear? Thanks in advance for your input.
Thanks again for all the suggestions. It is -4 here right now with a chill factor of -16. I think we may delay our departure a day or two. I checked motels enroute and we don't have a lot of options for motels. I did find a Quality Inn that would take our small dog for an extra $25 but their...
Thanks for all the replies. I was thinking of doing exactly what Hockster suggested regarding staying in a motel instead of an RV park. Trouble is finding a motel that is dog friendly and has a lot large enough to park overnight. Plus I really don't like staying in a motel. When I worked full...
Happy New Year to all! Getting ready to load up the RV and head South for the winter. We should have left two weeks ago. Is there anything I need to do before I open up the slides so I can load up all our stuff? It has been well below zero this past week and forecast to be -11 degrees this...
Hurricanes, floods, wild fires, terror attacks, and sadness. It has been a rough year for all Americans. Even more reason to " pay it forward" and take the time to wish someone " Merry Christmas." Heard on the news last week that we can't call "Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer" anymore. You have...
Thanks again for all the replies. We have decided to visit Charleston in mid April at the end of our Snowbird stay at Willowtree. Really do appreciate your input and suggestions.
Reservations made. Check in the mail today. Really looking forward to it. Update: Received email confirmation today. November 17,2017. Arriving June 13,2018.
Thanks for the reply and useful information. The limit settings disappear every time the power is disconnected. I will try to set the limits the next time I travel. Thanks again.
