The sump for the winterizing hose on our 185 is under the right side bench...open one valve and close the other, place the hose in the bottle, open the faucets, turn the pump on......SLURRRRP.... turn the pump off, turn off the faucets, close the one valve and open the other, and done.

I had no problems towing with a 2008 Chevy Uplander - in the the intermountain west....Utah, Nevada, Wyoming, etc. Don't overload, and you should be fine....the explorer is more suited than the Uplander...people worry alot about these things and overkill it to death. Look at what they tow...

My 2011 MPG also has some pretty severe oxidation. First question, is it that big of a deal? Other than the cosmetic implications, will the oxidation have consequences for the longevity of my TT?

marc, I also have a 2011 MPG with severe oxidation on the horizontal surfaces. At first I thought it was an anti-skid coating....nope! Should this happen on a two year old trailer? Have you come up with a fix? I really like my MPG and would like her to stick around for a while.......

You can purchase mine. I have never used it, just pulled it out of the bag and (arghhh!) stuffed it bag in to look at it. I am the second owner, the previous owner said he did the same, including the (arghhh!). By the way, I have almost finished my own bag awning....5x7.
