    ATF: Greystone - Replacement Graphics

The front and rear of our trailers graphics are splitting. I'm trying my best to not wax over or use anything on the vinyl that will deplete them. Learned a lesson there with previous trailers. I was wondering if the Heartland factory might keep the graphics sets on hand for trailers under...

Looks like we have the frame flex

Hadn't heard anything about the Lippert frames flexing until I noticed our 2012 Greystone doing it recently. The screw cover trim frame caulking on the curbside panel under the bedroom is indicating movement. After re-caulking the frame to panel area we noticed the caulk has a gap when the...

Will the warranty be affected if I do repairs myself?

Thanx again so much for the replies everyone! Small update: Matt Cameron from Heartland got in touch with us! One easy return phone call and all 4 items I noted will be sent along to us. We are extremely happy with Heartland. It's very uplifting to find a large company that has no problem...

Heartland is curious. What do you think about this?

I could see doing the entry door if 5th wheels go to the full wall slides. The way the steps stow on the trailer kind of puts me off with the Petersen design.

Will the warranty be affected if I do repairs myself?

Thanx donr and dane! I will call HCS tomorrow for sure. The few items are exterior things that kind of went sun damaged from the coach sitting so long at the dealer. Nothing serious... The inside is pristine and everything functions as advertised :)

Will the warranty be affected if I do repairs myself?

Hi there... We have a few broken items on a new 2012 Greystone 32RE we purchased locally this past April. I really don't want to return the trailer to the dealer for simple warranty work. Would it be possible to have Heartland just send us the parts? We can do the work easily at home. I'll say...

    2012 Mega 2500 and a Road Warrior 400RW

Hi there, That's a lot of trailer for a short 3\4 ton pickup IMO. I might risk it myself, yet I'd have a rough time recommending the combo to anyone else. Pretty sure a mild crosswind would be a little scary with that kind of weight behind a shortbox pick-up.

    How Lucky we are!

Oh my! So glad to read this. Had a feeling Heartland was a good choice. Probably be bugging the forum a lot in the coming months when we finally get rolling with our Greystone.

    Cabinet Door Modification

Haven't gone anywhere in our new trailer yet and I've already beefed up a hinge on one overhead cabinet door on our GS 32RE. Hoping it doesn't give us any trouble...I was afraid the hinge was going to rip out of the wood.

Observations from an RV"ER at a parking lot sale.

Odd you would bring this up Cody. We actually ended up with our very first TT because of a WalMart parking lot show from a dealer. This of course was back in 1995, yet the sales guy there invited us up to the dealer lot to have a look at a better selection. I remember we sat in the nice 26...

    5th wheel vs travel trailer

Our experience has been great with both types. TT pros for us were: Great floorplan Rear sleep suite that I could stand up in Two entry doors (one right into the bedroom) Easy towing (28 footer behind a 3\4 ton supercab) Cons (Hitch mostly) : Hooking up Spring-bars on older type EazLift (To...

    Interpreting Model Numbers

Far as I can tell for instance our new Greystone 32RE is: 32 feet of interior living with the "rear entertainment" layout to me that = 32RE Guessing here: CK = center kitchen RK = rear kitchen RL = rear lounge MK = mid kitchen (island) Adding around 30 to 36 inches to the first 2 numbers of the...

ATF: Greystone - Problem Getting a Full Fresh Water Tank

Yup, We use a 1\2 inch clear vinyl hose cut to about 18" in length down the fill pipe. Takes a while to fill yet it works for getting a full tank. Good luck there...
