I've got a 4 inch turbo back Magnaflow exhaust system on my Ram, only using a Hypertech programmer on the engine and get very little soot on the front of the trailer. I do however get a lot on the rear lower corner of the bed and corner of the bumper and on the exhaust tip.

Saw 4.29 here in VA today.. get it while you can.. you know what is coming up in a couple weeks, the holiday that is always used as an excuse to raise prices and keep them higher all winter while they switch to home heating oil:(

From what I've seen on the dealers site that is in Danville, VA I doubt you'll do much better on price than them. Kinda makes me wish they had been handling Heartland last year when I bought mine....

I took the OEM Michelins off my Ram when they had 45K on them, they were terrible on wet roads IMO. Got a set of Goodyear Silent Armor's, they are the best wet weather tire I've had yet. Even with my Cummins cranked up and nothing in the bed I can barely get them to lose traction on a wet road...

My problem is, I've got a ton of ideas but no one will let me make a living using them....LOL I could think up a huge list of little items that would make for nice options to have on a trailer....some of them have never been used as far as I know.

There are times when I have to really slide my one living room window open and slam it a bit to make sure it is fully seated so it will lock. Nothing in the track and I've tried to put a little lube on it, but it still is tight in the tracks and takes a solid push to move it to open or close it...

The older Montanas and Fleetwood models I saw with the front living room all placed the "stool room' door right next to the dinette.. not a good idea IMO. If you can find it in a hardware store, try the Industrial Strength Goof Off aerosol. It's a bit stronger than Goo Gone, but not as harsh as laquer thinner IMO.

I haven't used them in my 3012 either. If I didn't need them on I-81 thru PA, there's a good chance you'll never need them... I put about 2500 miles on mine in two trips last summer with no need for them.

I've not seen it listed for any of the Heartland units. I think I've seen them offered on a few, mostly the high end units such as WW (which are really expensive and most are so heavy they push the limits of a one ton truck). IMO you'd be just as well off with one of the small "suitcase style"...

If it's any consolation, the DIC reading in my Ram has always been off by approx 2mpg from the day it was brand new.

IIRC, the Sundance models with the bedroom slide are 11'-10" with the 15 inch wheels and 12' with the upgraded 6K axles and 16 inch wheels. Don't know if all the Sundance models are the same height, but I would guess they'd all be pretty close to the same height.

To be honest, I think Heartland already has one, this forum and our regional rally's. Since there are factory reps and one of the owners that actively participate in this forum, they have access to more owners than most manufacturers do.
