Pulled the slider out and made the hitch stationary. This dropped the nose height about 2" and leaves me about 2" high now. Probably will try it that way and see what happens. I may be able to drop one more hole in the hitch and see what happens with the bed rails.

No it is a 4x4 with 17" tires and not lifted. I think my best bet may be to remove the slider and put in the non-slider legs which should lower the hitch by about 3".

The pin box is at the top now. I wish it had some room to move it.
Traded trucks for 2019 2500HD Chevy Silverado. Put in a Curt A16 slider. At the lowest settings the trailer is about 4" high in the front compared to measuring the rear end. Any ideas on how to lower the front without changing hitches or is this acceptable?
Thanks,

Need some advice on why the wallpaper wrinkles on my walls on 265RK. There are three sections close to the ceiling that are not wet but have wrinkled. Off and on I have put a bucket of water in the trailer to keep moisture in it since we live in the desert. Any ideas on how to straighten out the...
It is too large to many users with lighter trucks. I don't see any that will now compete with the Sundance line. No light weight units to compete with other manufacturers either. Cougar will run away with that sector of the market now. What really is going on here?

I have a 2013 Sundance 265RK that was built in late 2012 and it has formica style counter tops not solid. I have seen other ones with solid counter tops so what happened to my unit? Also I hope the wallpaper has improved since mine was built. The seams are terrible. The local dealer tried to...
Re: What's swith closing many of the Sundance Threads???
I hope you keep listening to the owners of Heartland products. Some things need to be discussed with open minds in both directions.

I just took delivery on a new Sundance XLT 265RK and it feels like it has some vibrations in the A/C when it is on high. You can feel it throughout the trailer. It is not a tremendous vibration but you know its there. Is this normal? This is my first alum frame trailer and fifth wheel.
Thanks...
Just bought a new Sundance 265RK and brought it home. We plan a shakedown trip if the weather holds up this weekend. Will go over everything to make sure things are good. One question I forgot to ask the dealer is if we need to use anything at the top of the slideout to look it for transport...
I just purchased a new Sundance and the dealer wanted me to pay for a coating that would guarantee the finish for five years. I didn't take that option but wondered what I can use to keep it new looking? Thanks for the help.
