If it "locks out" again I'm going to replace the dang thing with a conventional "AC only" refer! I have sleep apnea, sleep with a C-PAP breathing machine (requires ac power) so I will ALWAYS have "shore" power (no boondoggling).

OK, refer is up and running. The heating elements were "locked out" and the "board" had to be reset ($115). Really - Norcold can't "design in" a reset switch? I've read posts giving instructions for "resetting the board" but isn't there a more permanent / user friendly fix?

I have not tried propane - just "ac" and "auto" settings. I'll try propane next time I take it out (weekend of 01/25 weather permitting).

I turned it on 1st thing Friday morning and off Sunday morning - nothing. I try propane next trip.

Thanks Don - that was my next plan. This "coating" comes off so easy I believe I can remove it with my fingers. I'll look into removing the fender/lights, spray the thing with clear Krylon for plastic, and see what happens?

Plastic. Heartland has replacement fenders for @ $170 each. As you can see, it's the clear coating - not the actual paint. I guess for now I can finish peeling off the coating and leave as is?

Anyone seen anything similar to this?

The coating on the right fender of my mpg 185 has blistered (from sitting unused in the Texas sun) and is peeling off. Are replacement fenders available? If not, what are my options? Thanks, Richard :(

Just sighed up. I will be picking up a brand new 2011 mpg 185 this Friday (yes, it's BRAND NEW - my mother purchased the 185 late 2010, put it in storage and it has never been slept in). Literally - it still has the plastic protective covering on the microwave door.:cool:
