Replace shocks or go with the Morryde sre4000 system

You have all given me good information. As a result I will do more research on the different systems available for my Landmark. It is interesting to hear all of the "promises" from a salesperson on what a product can do. That is why I posted this question on our forum to get advice and...

Replace shocks or go with the Morryde sre4000 system

I have installed the wet bolt kit from Morryde. The shocks on my Landmark are worn out and thus I am considering installing the Morryde sre4000 suspension system instead of the new shocks. Has anyone had any experience or knowledge with or about the system from Morryde? Would I be better off...

    LCI level up problem

Hi Dan, First of I want to thank you for all of the help that you give all of us. Obviously, you have an innate mechanical aptitude and are willing to help everyone on this forum. I am certain many, many others echo my sentiments. Based on your advice I checked the valves. I found the...

    LCI level up problem

When I open one of my hydraulic slides or use my front hydraulic jacks my two entry side middle and rear jacks extend as well. When this occurs the slides extend and retract very slowly. Valve problem? Any ideas/solutions?

    Underbelly Question

I don't believe that this is an issue with most other manufacturers. If you look at the Grand Design underbelly you will see one that is nice and tight and has a metal seam that goes around the entire perimeter of the unit. It is far superior to the one on my Landmark. I had to spend a couple...

    Paint issues

My 2015 Landmark Grand Canyon started getting tiny paint bubbles on the baggage doors, one propane door, and a small area on the slide. Per 2 different RV body shops they said the cause was a poor prep at the factory. Has anyone else had this or a similar paint problem? The cost of the repair...

length of black tank valve cable

I did not shorten the cable but somewhat followed the same route. The original cable had too tight of a bend and was not secured at any point. It was certainly not installed at the factory following Valterra's installation instructions. With my re-route and anchoring the cable the valve opens...

    Thinking of Upgrading

Good friends of mine just traded their Big Horn for a new Grand Design Solitude due to similar problems. Per the couple "there is a day and night difference in the quality control." They told me that they have had very few warranty issues and the few they did have were only cosmetic on the new...

    Underbelly Question

Sorry my response is late on this thread...I to had a big issue with the underbelly filling with water while driving on rain soaked roads. I could not get Heartland to deal with this problem. In fact, even with pictures and sending them copies of Heartland owner experiencing the same problems...

length of black tank valve cable

I dropped the underbelly and took off the valve. I was surprised to find out that the cable is 120 inches (10 feet) long. The valve cable mechanism is facing the back of the coach and has a long loop. I considered replacing it with an electric valve, but an RV repair places strongly...

length of black tank valve cable

The valve is very hard to close. I have to push and pull several times to get it to close. I don't know if it is the cable or the valve causing the problem. I called Heartland and they told me that on my unit the valve is a Valtarra. I will replace valve and the cable since I will be removing...

length of black tank valve cable

Thank you. I keep the RV at my sons house which is in the rural country. The nearest RV parts dealer is well over an hour drive from his place. I was hoping to have the parts before I started this repair. I will probably do my "best guess" on the cable length and order it knowing that I...

Count me in. I would love to play. Are there courts available where we can play without the local group? If there are courts available there might be enough of us to have a few matches. I would be willing to drive to other cities if they have dedicated pickleball courts open to the public if...

Tail lights not working but running lights are

A friend just called me while traveling in Arizona. He asked for help regarding his 2013 Bighorn fifth wheel. It seems that his tail lights are not working but his running lights are. I believe that both are on the same circuit from the plug in pin. Any ideas and/or suggestions?

    Hooray, I am now legal!!!!

I took my California Class A driving test about a year ago. In California they make it difficult. Congratulations! My wife and I own a 2014 Grand Canyon. After a rough first year with ours it has become the favorite RV we have owned after we took care of the problems. The floor plan is very nice and it is comfortable to stay in when we travel to the desert for a portion of the winter. It...

50 Amp breaker for hydraulic slides

I am surprised that Heartland would not replace the breaker with an 80A one. My 2014 Landmark was having the same problem and not just in cold weather. Heartland had the dealer replace the 50A breaker with an 80A breaker and paid for the breaker and installation. The Heartland representative...

ATF: Landmark - Azdel instead of luan

ATF: Landmark - Azdel instead of luan
