Heartland owners calendar - Discontinuing
ALL,
Unfortunately not enough HOC members are interested in a calendar to keep printing one. I have a total of 6 pictures submitted. Accordingly, I'll be discontinuing the calendar. Perhaps in a year or two HOC members will want to bring it back.
Just a friendly reminder to get those great pictures compiled and submitted for the HOC Calendar 2018. The picture should be the best pixel quality available. Pictures should be taken anytime in 2017. Judges will be looking for your Heartland RV pictured with or without your tow vehicle...
OK folks the time has come to get those great pictures compiled and submitted for the HOC Calendar 2018. The picture should be the best pixel quality available. Pictures should be taken anytime in 2017. Judges will be looking for your Heartland RV pictured with or without your tow vehicle. Setup...
The pictures are probably better from the original thread that you can access from my post. What you will need to do is remove the four pins that hold the bed at the factory set height. Then with the pins removed you lower the top bunk to the height you desire. In your case you will have it all...
You have a few options. You can drill new holes in the happijack bed rails for the push pins. I did this modification and by doing so it allowed me to lower the top bunk almost all the way so you can eliminate a step ladder. Also by doing this you can rest the top bunk on the bottom table/bunk...
Just new bins. So I now have two sets of bins the long and short ones. I like the long ones much better. They fit everything easily as opposed to the short ones.
Modifications continue here with the addition of Lippert's long under chassis storage boxes. I already had the smaller ones but decided the longer ones were much more useful. Great for all black water related items. Especially with two full bathrooms and two black water tanks.
A lift kit is not difficult. You will be adding blocks between the axles and springs. You will need to have longer U bolts. I suspect if you get a complete kit it will come with everything you need. Your biggest challenge will be getting a hitch to give you the proper even ride height. Tires...
I use the winch below. I like it cause it is light and 110v as opposed to 12v. I hook it into the forward center d ring eye. I use it to load my front wheel drive GEM car. About 1,000lbs.
Duane would it help to spray that flexseal type stuff over the areas where you see water. I know it's not the right fix but you have to stop the water penetration.
Just ordered both the smoked window kit and the privacy black window kit from Lippert.

Let me re-examine a closed thread. I recently requested a brochure from DRV and observed that the East Regional Sales Manager sent it from a @heartlandrvs.com email address. When the thread was closed in 2015 it was my understanding that the DRV brand would remain completely separate. If the...
They go between the rail and the door jam so no little kiddie's can climb through and fall off the deck. If you don't have young children you don't need to put them on.
Re: ATF: Cyclone - Inside door handle
I will tell you I personally LOVE the screen window. I notice all the other models from Landmark, Bighorn, Big Country, etc have the screen door which requires you to slam it to close it correctly. My screen window/door I literally close with two fingers...
Re: ATF: Cyclone - Inside door handle
Oh yes you are correct. Heartland added the separate screen door on the 2016 and later models. IMHO a screen door was not necessary since the toy haulers have such a large window with a screen.
Great idea but What is your height clearance in the garage? I don't think that would allow me to store some of my toys with rollbars underneath the beds.
I don't have any creative ideas for you but a comment on the subject. I'm not sure if the steps come standard with the patio kit or if you have a choice between the steps and just the railing like earlier years. In my honest opinion the steps should not be standard with the patio kit. They are...
