Not just CA, many places. I have a short list of states I have no desire to visit and CA is on it.
I strongly agree with your comment on warning shots or pulling a weapon. No one will ever know I carry unless it is required to stop a threat. At that time they may see it a second before I fire.
OK ~~ makes sense. I'm looking at an Elkridge when we get back from Florida. The W/D is in the rear of the 40FLS. Only concern is pulling 42' with a SRW F350 6.7. All numbers are OK, just the length is on my mind.
Thank you for the info!
I'm looking at the same numbers. I figure loaded pin about 3000 which some room. The washer/dryer is located in the rear of the 40fls. SRW not as stable as DRW so wondering if anyone has experience as my F350 is only 7 months old.
Looking for the good, bad, and not so good on these two. Planning on purchasing one of the two next month. Any major problems to watch for? What gray tank is the W/D plumbed to?
True! Going by the published pin weight dry of 1705 which was accurate my F250 would have been fine with a 2247 payload. Loaded just barely OK. Then the add ons like BR AC, washer/dryer and more. Now the new F350 has just 1000# payload cushion. That yellow sticker can bite.
I agree 100%. Would never say anything bad about the 7.3 and never thought I'd be happier with he 6.7 but I am. Staying away from the 6.4 certainly makes sense. At this time most 6.0 have either had the fix" or are one of the good ones. I'd still stay way from a 6.0 without the 'fix' documented.
Agree, I used to run charters on Lake Ontario (wine country) and deer hunted NY as well, 1960s through early 1990s. I cannot get past the politics any longer. My CWP is recognized in 34 states, I'll patronize those and don't feel missing anything
Also,,, how will wind an passing semis effect must be considered. For that reason I prefer anything over about 32' or 9K - 10K to be a 5er for stability.
I all reality there is not much you cannot PULL with an F150 BUT you run out of PAYLAD quickly long before. There are many TTs ad 5ers that 150 or F250 can tow within payload. The trick is to buy the TV to fit the RV or the RV to fit the payload requirements. Consider future requirements is...
Had no problems with my F250 6.7 except payload. Had an emergency tow for a friend and dropped his 2870# on the hitch and she didn't drop 1 1/2 inches. 4 people of about 800# added and she drove and stopped as desired. Only had to go just over 100 miles and would never do I under ordinary...
After 1 dually I'll keep payload under the requirement. Always parking in the back 40 as no parking spaces are large enough, stays out as nothing else fits in the garage with it. 6 tires to replace. The only vehicle I could not wait to be rid of
I had an office about 65 miles from home with a refinery almost within sight. Always gassed near home as it was a minimum of $0.30 less per gallon. Since retired I average 35K - 45K miles annually and never recall diesel being high than gas until recently and it has only been recently I started...
That is what I meant. Available at all hardware stores. There have been a lot of reports of water damage due to ice makers in RVs lately ~~ only time until the washer/dryer numbers start climbing.
As a real estate broker I have always suggested buyers toss the rubber hoses from washers and plastic hoses from ice makers and replace with metal hoses.
"I asked her didn't you think this strange and only my address not DW." I'm sure they did not find it strange. Divorce and separation is nothing new. Also, I have worked out of town for months prior to retirement and had my mail forwarded and not that of the rest of the family. There are many...
The VFW, American Legion, Red Cross, and most counties have someone to handle claims and appeals. Some lawyers make a living doing the same. The Disabled American Veterans (DAV) does a great job. Unlike many at the other locations the service officers are not volunteers, they are disabled vets...
I'm 40%, far from 100% but if in your shoes I would call and ask if they have a walk in doctor and if not tell them I'm on my way anyway. Montgomery may even have a 24/7 emergency room. CAVHCS-West Campus 215 Perry Hill Road
Montgomery, AL 36109...
The 2 emergency rooms I'm aware of have been turned into 12 hour ( 8 to 8) emergency visit operations. For a real emergency go to a civilian emergency room but if you need to see a doctor quickly they will take care of you. Closest one to me is 45 minutes. Also, every primary care doc at every...
I wonder if any are actually "made for traveling" any farther than from the factory to the dealer and home. I've been very lucky with my last 3 units. Hope they get your back wall fixed soon. I'm not sure how many shops are able to handle that and glad you have one.
Access is from OUTSIDE. Depending on make / model ~~ there are 4 screws at the chrome vent. That needs removed and the exhaust will be free to be removed. Then take the screws off the panel and the furnace is looking at ya! Messing with the beds will get you no where.
Diesel in Sarasota FL ~~ lowest I found $2.05. John D may be on the right track. My daughter puts many more work miles on than 18 months ago. The Diesel burns more as it never stops. When not on the road the truck keeps moving and the car ~~ my wife is always on the go. We use one card for...
