2016 Road Warrior 427 purchased it new. I have the side patio issue. Super spongy to the point of unusable. Here is my issue with this, its a patio its going to get wet. My literature and purchase walk through has nothing about this patio cannot get wet. Guess what, found an article written...
Last time I checked the most desirable products in the world are "handmade"
So the thought process that since it is handmade its expected to be inferior is not supported by facts
Everyone here, myself included drank the kool-aid thats why we post here. I bet you couldn't search the entire data base of posts and find anyone who thinks this is Heartlands problem alone.
The cause, cure thats for them to figure out. We as consumers must demand fair value for money spent...
I think the ops comment comparing cars and rv's was meant in terms of quality.
The last time I was in a auto manufacturing facility I observed far more human installers than robots. While robots are used heavily in the auto industry it is mostly welding, painting and heavy repetitive tasks that...
No ma'am. Not attacking.
It seems that I may have misunderstood your phrasing.
Bless your heart has several connotations. To me thats either Im touched, ignorant or truly sympathized. It appears you meant it as the latter, if that is the case I apologize.
As far as throwing things around, an...

depends on your states consumer protection levels.
Anyone can write anything they desire, doesn't mean it would hold up under scrutiny.
Rephrase my statement to read...because you didn't have the knowledge during inspection to point out defects.
These units are not sold caveat emptor. They have implied warranties.
Unsure of what the issue is.. Its been at Heartland for a month.
The reason I was told that Heartland picked it up was that the local quotes to repair the defects was too high.
The use of a coach would have been nice, bought it for the grandkids and didnt get to take them anywhere this...
Do you do the same when buying a vehicle, or do you trust/expect greater delivery of product and warranty process?

I think many are confused about warranty versus defective items.
Thought I had that in the original post, didn't so I added.
Heartland picked it up 8/9 for repair.
If you think Im frustrated don't even think about talking to the wife!
Maybe so,
I'm not an expert on dealer to manufacturer agreements.
Whatever the case, its taking on water like the SS Minnow and I'm feeling a lot like Wrongway Feldman
Only a couple of minor issues would have been resolved like the coaxial terminations. Unless the dealers are willing to perform a leak test at PDI I dont know how you would know the unit leaks?
Well I see this has been moved to the RV service experience subforum, which it is not.
This is a manufacturers defect.
The unit was defective from the factory and its a dealer issue?
My Heartland Road Warrior Experience thus far..
After an exhaustive search we came across the Road Warrior 427. We loved everything about it. We found a in stock unit in Alvarado Texas and made the purchase.
Arrived for our PDI, although we attempted to educate ourselves in hindsight we...
That "speaker" area is where the wiring lies, you need access in here, not sure why it wasn't left accessible. I cut this screen out and plan to put an accessible cover back. Since the coax terminates in the plate behind the tv and we needed it in the shelf area for the receiver we taped a hdmi...
Update.
One of the items that was an issue was the large slide. The end that doesn't have the drive unit on extension was not finishing in a plumb manner. The bottom is still out about a inch from touching the internal gasket. The dealer stated they adjusted all that was possible.
The other...
Well tomorrow we head over for our PDI of our new 427. Interested in any things that current owners look back and wished you had either checked out, asked about etc...
I have a basic checklist to keep me on track but suggestions are always welcomed.
After reading most threads here one of the...
