Ditto. Any hitch if subjecting to enough force, can and will fail. Seen it at least a few times after 31 years as a Cop Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The ice presumably ask like scrubbers as it sloshes away and melts, no muss not fuss.

Can we use detergent in our BIGHORN tanks?

No specific amount but I'm guessing it amounts to approximately 2-4 Gallons

Can we use detergent in our BIGHORN tanks?

Hmmm, I usually squirt a good amount down the toilet with new water after I dump the black tank, and then leave it in as I drive around until the next trip. Loosens up some sludge, good to know. Might have to try something different now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    New Goose box hitch attached

I have a B&W Gooseneck hitch with the turnover ball. I've been using a Gooseneck adaptor until I can change out the pin box, then I'll use the Anderson Ultimate I purchased already.

    New Goose box hitch attached

True as far as inside the cab. Obviously you'll need to elevate your phone to see over the bed rail, but it works. Try it sitting in your truck and just see what you can see. Learned this from another poster/member. I have a crew fan and tried it inside first and it's a no go, but I can see the...

    New Goose box hitch attached

As far as hooking up, just flip the camera in your phone so you can see on the screen what the camera sees and hold it out the window to see what's going where. No need for all the other stuff. Or if it's not a crew cab, you may be able to hold it up inside the cab and see the ball in the bed...

My tow rig for our Heartland

I bought a leftover 2016 on the lot, this past January. Wish it was your color, but white is alright. I towed my 12,000lb tow behind within the first 1000 miles on the clock, completely stock. It was easier than my F350 modded and bagged. I then added the bags and BnW turnover with the Anderson...

    What's Up With My Tires???

Had all three on one side do that to me in June headed to the Keys. Finally realized the people waving at me weren't just trying to say hello and pulled over, thank God. They were a mess, all crowned over rubbing each other and 2 had the sidewall cords exposed Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Anderson Ultimate Fifth Wheel Hitch

I'm glad these came in now rather than a week from now. It got me to thinking, I need to measure how much room I have between the Anderson and the front bed wall, for a new Fuel and Tool box to fit. That coulda sucked. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Additional AC

I want to add a 3rd AC unit to my 4014, in the garage. It has a single AC vent ducted to the main AC unit. The garage is 14' long and with the ceilings height, it is not nearly enough to cool this volume of air. My thinking is to add a non ducted unit in place of the Auto vent/fan, but have it...

Powerking Tire Failure on Cyclone 4200

Had 3 let go on me in the Florida Turnpike June 24th on the way to Vacation in Marathon, talk about a nightmare. Even worse was the only new tires available from the nearest tire store available to help change tires, were more BlowMax's. I also have a 4014, but with 4 new BlowMax tires. FML...

Sadly I had 3 crap out on me on the Florida turnpike a week or so ago. Unfortunately I was loaded and headed for vacation in the Keys, so pushing almost 17,000. The only tires available in my situation turned out to be more BlowMax, but I was in a jam. Purchased 4 new since they only had 4 in...

Were there holes in your pin box for bolts for safety chains or did you add them to the Moryde? I like this better than the eye bolts in the coupler. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Suggestions for 5th wheel hitch.

So I bought the Anderson but I realize I now need a new Pin box. Since I'm still a relative newbie, I can't decide between a Moryde or the Air ride. Any input on this would also be appreciated, such as durability and reliability and, of course, comfort. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Suggestions for 5th wheel hitch.

I have read a few responses during my original search, that referred to factory "pucks" and it seems that member comments are positive. Should I consider having s dealer install this, or is that even possible on a Chevy after the fact? As I understand these "pucks", it leaves the bed...

    Suggestions for 5th wheel hitch.

I searched and it seems the threads keep repeating themselves, hence the new topic. I had a gooseneck in my 2000 F350 DRW, but recently purchased a 2016 Silverado 3500 DRW. I just installed airbags and now onto the hitch, only I do t know the first thing about them. My Pop's loves his Gooseneck...
