Like new used only twice $500. The Anderson Hitch attaches to your Gooseneck Ball and has an adapter attached to your 5th Wheel pin. Very easy to install or remove by yourself. This aluminum edition only weighs about 25 lbs. I had my original Anderson Hitch replaced under warranty and only...
We are considering getting a new RV and want to know the best way to sell our current rig. I know the local processed like Craigslist and Facebook. Has anyone used a consignment service or advertised with nation wide service?
I'm looking at installing the Victron Multiplus that can be programed to start a Genset but it requires a time delay relay or a one touch start system on the generator that I can't find any info on. My Onan 5500 requires the start switch be held down until it starts but will shut of with one...
Has anyone installed an auto start on their Onan Generator. I read somewhere that there is an option that will automatically start your generator when the battery level gets down to a point where it needs to be recharged but not so low that the generator won't start.
The tank heaters also have a built in thermostat and should not come on if its 40°F. Also on my cyclone the tanks sag in the middle so its never empty and that small amount of liquid would dissipate the heat enough to avoid problems.
I hope it works out for you. We have a 2017 Cyclone 3800 and have hauled it to Alaska twice. The roads are not that bad but we broke the rear shackles off on the way up last year. Broke a rear spring on the way up in April. Two weeks ago we broke two rear spring hanger bolts (MorRyde wet...
That hole and wires look like the ones for the electrically operated rear screen. If you have the 3 season door I assume they don't install the screen but the hole and wires are there since the door is an add on option.
It works great. I have used the tank sanitize functions twice and have pumped water from a the AquaTank II many times.

FRP sound like what I need to finish it off. Everything is working great.
We have had no problems with the spring hangars. Our trip up the ALCAN was almost un-eventful. We did break a rear leaf spring but that was quickly replaced.
I have had several suspension problems but no brake trouble. Please provide an update when you know more. Also is there a way to subscribe to a thread without making a comment or reply?
The same happened to me last year. Rear Spring Hangers broke. Lippert paid for replacement and 60% on three tires that got damaged. Since then I upgraded to a wet bolt kit, Joy rider shocks, and added supports across from one side to the other to reinforce the spring hangers.
Our Cyclone 3800 has two packages the yeti package which is only a 12V heat cable on the water line that goes to the pump. The Canadian Arctic Package has 120V tank heaters on all the fluid tanks. I turn all on when it is forecast to be 34 degrees or below then turn them off if above that...
I just bought a second spare and would like to know if others have two spares and how they mount or store the second spare. For now mine rides in the bed of my truck between the tail gate and the hitch.
Thats a great project. I recently moved the back wall of my Cyclone and gained about 3 1/2 square feet of floor space. I don't understand the wasted space either. Maybe they reserve it for other options. Here is link to a video of my project.
I wouldn't worry about the miles. I have an 03 with 287000 miles and it is still going strong. Of course pull a car facts for any damage and it should show dealer maintenance and repairs. At that mileage I would make sure the front wheel hubs have been replaced or expect to replace them...
Its done. After reading all the water filter post and doing additional research I finally put together a dual canister water filter system for less than $100 and along with it I upgraded the Anderson Valve panel to the 200RV-WHBSD which will allow me to sanitize the tank and use the RV pump to...
I know others have already spoken favorable about the Anderson Ultimate hitch. When we bought our Cyclone the dealer recommended the Anderson and showed us the literature that is is the only gooseneck adapter hitch that does not void the warrantee. I love how it tows and especially how easy it...
Thanks for posting this. I usually ski at Alta, UT or in the back country. $99 is about the same as a day pass at many resorts. The list of resorts that the Epic Pass is good for has some of my bucket list resorts on it. I am in.
I had the valve body crack and was able to make a temporary repair with epoxy for plastic. Now I am in the middle of upgrading the anderson valve to one the has the bypass built in. I will post more later on this project.
Thats Scary. I suspected most RV Parks aren't doing much to maintain their water systems based on how many have leaks. I tried not to think about the possible contamination from the Sewer system. We currently just the Camco Inline and use a Pur Filter pitcher for drinking water. hoping for...
Thanks for the info. I was thinking of putting the regulator in line either where the water comes in through the Anderson Valve or after the filters to keep it from freezing. I have mine set at 70psi now just to be safe.
I have searched the forum and read the User Guides on Whole Coach Water Filters. There is some very good info and really great ideas on different ways to do this. I have decided to put together a system permanently mounted inside the utility area to minimize set up and keeping it warm in...
Thank for the response. That was my suspicion after reading the online info from the manufacturer. I cleared the latest ice blockage by back flushing with hot water, which worked great.
With all the cold weather we had an ice blockage in our discharge line. Hot water flushed from the business end of the line fixed it. Now I am looking for ways to protect and prevent future problems. I know I need to fix the small grey water gate valve leak that fills the line but thats...
I was concerned about the hanging pantry as well so I keep a 2" thick piece of sturdy foam that I slide under the pantry on top of the counter, when I bring the kitchen slide in. It provides support to and vibration dampening to the pantry. So far it seems to be working.
Re: Cyclone 4200 tow options?
When estimating how much your 4200 will weigh, plan on the Max 20000lbs. We full time in our Cyclone 3800 and every few months We go through and pull out things we think we don't need or what we haven't used. Keeping it under the MGVW is not easy. The last time...
I thinks it depends on the year your RoadWarrior was built. Our Cyclone has the same type of switch setup. If your control panel has water heater switches for Propane and Electric, and you have a switch labeled Yeti, then the red switch below the control panel should be for the holding tank...
In our 3800 that vent was connected to the furnace with 3" flexible ducting (uninsulated). As others have posted the air cools to the point of no value by the time it gets to the garage. The underbelly is suppose to be heated and mine was not. Whether someone forgot to cut a hole in the...
