    Door Gas Strut Bracket Loose

The 3 holes for the bracket are on the outside of the door. There is no water leaking into the door, I have it sealed. I fixed it using wooden dowels windless down in size to fit the holes. I covered them with a very good glue and put some in the holes as well. I let it sit for about 30 minutes...

    Door Gas Strut Bracket Loose

That may work, this is a door on my RV and I was afraid to try that, the anchor I used is the type you screw in and then break it off flush with surface, nearly the same as a wood dowel. But I’ll try the dowel and glue next, THANK YOU!!

    Door Gas Strut Bracket Loose

Hi y’all from Texas! I have a 2017 Elkridge E292 and the screws are coming out of the gas strut bracket on the door. I tried a plastic anchor in the holes and it held for a week. Any good ideas out there to remedy this? I’m just not sure how far I can go with the door, hole size, etc. I very...

    Fresh Water Connections

We have a 2017 Heartland Elkridge E292. It has 3 water connections, the top I know is the gravity fed type, but the 2 others had me confused and I flooded the bottom of our trailer! Now I know that the bottom connection is the one to use without flooding us out. This may be just pure ignorance...

    Ford, 6.7 problem

Happened to me just after leaving work one afternoon, 2015 6.7! Skeered the bejeezies outa me! Turbo hose clamp blew off (metal ring). Actually saw when it hit the inside of the hood! Yeah, 38 miles later with no power, I got her home. Common on 6.7’s, at least the early gens! Sent from my...

    Air suspension front and rear

Thanks Flick. My previous 2015 F250 SRW Lariat FX4 also had the 2” level kit and Bilstein shocks with rear Ride-Rite air bags by Firestone and we loved the look and set up, although I personally think that the 2” front lift made her ride a little harder. I have just been curious about the front...

Hey y’all! I hope everyone had a great Christmas and a festive New Year’s Eve and to all a Happy New Year! Our tow vehicle was totaled, which had the Firestone ride rite bags installed (rear only). Our new tow vehicle, basically the same truck, only a different color, 2015 F-250 SRW Crew Cab...

100% Ford! I know many Chevy guys that over the past 3 or 4 years have made the move to Ford. I will say this though, today’s Ford, Dodge and Chevy 3/4 ton and up are very close in towing capabilities; torque, hp, etc. I do believe that Ford gives you the best overall though, hands down...my...

    External Cable and Satellite Connections

Thanks Jay, not a big fan of RV customer service of any kind to be honest. I guess I’ll just have to try the various connections to see which port is for what. Ranch Hitch 5th Wheel to Gooseneck Adapter

Bought a landmark Oshkosh-- my 17 f250 gas is not enough

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk The short bed trucks maneuver great with a 5’er, you just really need a slider hitch. We have an F250 Crew Cab short bed with a SuperGlide auto sliding hitch, and I can get a 90 degree turn no problem. Good luck! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

tri-pod support for the king pin??

For those of us that do not have the cool 6 point leveling system, I think the tripod is a bonus at the kingpin. MaxAire II vent cover mounting brackets . . .

    Disappointed in Manufacturer

Our Keystone wasn't the best, although it functioned well. It was mostly the walls we had troubles with. I wish I had went to these forums prior to buying our Elk Ridge E292. I did some research, and Heartland won overall, so we purchased from them. Obviously I didn't do enough research.
