If you are talking about the seal that appears to be attached in a crimped metal strip then this what you want. Cut the old seal off and attach the new seal with the attached tape. Be sure to clean the metal well. Brake clean or alcohol. It I'll stay. Be sure to check the inside seals as well...
It could also be the check valve in water pump. If you determine it's the check valve ain the pump, buy a check valve and place it on the inlet to the water pump. Easy fix.
I didn't say I hooked up that way.
The park had a power outage and batteries were running down. I used the truck to charge the batteries to keep the lights on and the fridge running, etc. You could also do the same to move the slides and or raise and lower the landing gear.
Just saying 😉
I had this exact same problem
Check for power at the solenoid valve It's marked + (the big red wire). From there to the negative battery post. In my case the circuit breaker gave up the ship. Quick fix is to jump the + post on the solenoid valve to the + post on the battery. In my case there...
I obviously leave the batteries in the RV. I turn off all the disconnects and charge the the batteries with a solar charger through a battery tender. I use this set up for a minimum of 6 months.
I've been reading that putting a stored battery on a board is no longer necessary. Supposedly since battery cases are made of new materials.
Personally I still put a board underneath.
I wouldn't do it especially in the mountains. It looks like the GVWR is 7750 for the BH270. That seems a lot for that truck, which is already pretty heavy. A 1/2 ton pickup with V8 would be my second choice. Personally I'd prefer any 3/4 ton for pulling any RV.
Just my humble opinion
That silencer kit certainly won't work with any of the Dometic A/C units I've ever seen installed on a Heartland product. It looks like their return air filter might work, but I don't see that as a noise abatement product.
I had that same red on blow. Major leak. I was at the National rally last year and had the service techs replaced it. (They were doing free work). When they checked my propane system they also found both the tank hoses had very small leaks, so they replaced all the hoses and all three regulators
The install will probably cost as much as a Flex Armor roof. Take the TPO kit and sell it on e bay or such. I didn't but I should have at least tried. If you can't nothing lost.
Best of luck.
Call Dicor directly. They may prorate it, but it'll be better than nothing. Then have a Flex Armor roof put on. I had my old removed at my expense. Only way to go.
