I don't know the size or strength of your dogs. When my one dog was younger she tore out the screen in the camper door. I replaced the screen wire with "pet screen", It is a much heavier screen material I was able to install in place the original. It worked for us.

We carry a six gallon plastic jerry can of water in the basement with the winterizing hose inserted in it. Saves having to sanitize the big tank but provides enough for flushing and hand washing while on the road. Also saves weight.
