just as an FYI, the thermal fuses need to be installed higher up than the factory install.
Had mine replaced under warranty and the tech had instructions to install them as high as possible, but still against the coil.
factory has the thermal fuses installed about half way down,
I guess that most people will keep the truck for many years and a trailer/5th is replaced more often.
Now if you are 100% that you NEVER will go above a certain size trailer/5th, buy a truck that can pull about 20% more.
Thing is that 100%..... can be the right choice and in that case it is...
We bought our new truck with the purpose of towing pretty much any fifth wheel.
We had not decided on a fifth wheel when we purchased a new truck. The truck needed to pull any and all available fifth wheels, be very confortable to drive when pulling or when not pulling.
We ended up with a 2016...
Hisense mailed a thermal fuse(set) to a repair service.
Seems like this is a common problem with the Hisense Fridge, since they knew what part to mail out.
Anyways, fridge got repaired under warranty at no cost to me.
The thermal fuse can be purchased on ebay for a few bucks and is easy to replace

we have a3513 and there is only one drawer at the foot of the bed.
It came with a king bed, very uncomfortable, so i converted it to a queen size to fit a regular queen size mattress.
This also would give us much more walk room next to the bed.
doing so, i had to remove the plywood and...
Well, I will have my unit replaced under warranty on site.
Found a mobil service center, they checked the unit and called Dometic.
The mobil service center was aware of the Dometic problem.
I get the a new Brisk II 15000btu, just have to pay a $75 trip fee.
I know when the unit(s) needs...
Dometic replied with a google search result for mobile rv centers.
I guess they do not have to be listed on dometic website.
I called one of them and left a message..will see...and keep you posted.
so far, sloppy customer service from Dometic.
Well Dometic reply is to go on their website and find someone.
I did this called a lot of them, most are stationary only, the handful that are mobile are either no longer in business or they just do not reply to any voicemail.
So, I asked Dometic to provide me with a phone number of a mobile...
our living room ac in our 2017 cyclone 3513 is out. Runs, but does not cool any...probably a leak somewhere.
1 month and done, we are full time and are not able to go to a service station for the warranty.
Our dealer is LaMesa and they completely suck at service, very long wait times to get...
We are Moving , going full time, next weekend in the Silver Springs area.
We use our RV park address as our home address. Park address with the lot number.
Guess we are lucky to stay at an RV resort where they accept mail for each resident.
We visited the RV park and asked a lot of questions to...
oh yes, forgot about that one.
We looked at the 4018 when we bought ours, but decided on the 3513 HD edition.
Wife wanted the second bathroom and i preferred a 2 axles.
our 13 foot garage holds a full dresser and a trike, all we needed.
well, i bought me a F-350 diesel long bed DRW 2016 platinum before i purchased a fifth wheel.
Reason is simple..after the truck purchase, i am not limited on any 5th wheel weight.
I do need to note that when i purchased the truck, the idea is to use it mainly, if not only to pull a 5th...But i...
mystery switch solved;
I submitted a ticket that explains it all.
I have a 2017 cyclone 3513, brand new, VIN xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.
We, as well as the dealer, had one switch on the control panel that did not seem to have any function.
Today, I went up on the roof with the slide outs out...
Update,
After few more trips, we learned that the front thermostat only controls the furnace.
We still have one mystery switch.
we removed the bunk bed in the garage, this really opens up the space.
Since the motor that lifts the bunk bed and seats has 12VDC available at all times, some...
Thanks Guys,
I have not tried with the bedroom control, but will do so the next cool night.
Indeed, only the garage Control gives the option of the heat strip. ( heat strip is an overstatement tho)
all 3 controls give the option of heat furnace... i will set all 3 on furnace and see if the...
just got back from a short "test" camping trip.
The mystery switch is still a mystery...
A more important issue is the furnace.
I selected the furnace on 2 of the thermostats and raised the temperature.
Even in Florida it gets a bit cool at night ....at times.
anyways, no heat at all...
One step closer...
One of the switches is indeed for the loft, the push button needs to be on.
Now, I do not have LED's above or near the fridge.
so, one mystery switch is still out there..
Seems like there are no standards when they build this cyclones, they are similar, but not exact.
and...
I think the loft has the push button lights.
The garage has its own switches located in the garage.
as soon as I find out what they are for, will post here.
maybe the prewired camera has a switch now?? jut a wild guess........
and agreed the 3513 is awesome!
Nope, I got al the lights working with hem 2 switches turned off.
wish Heartland would provide model specific manuals.
The manuals I got on USB are from 2015 and are very general.
Thank you for your replies.
When hooked up to a water source > set to CITY
There are 2 sets o 2 switches, got all lights working, but the 2 indicated on the picture are doing nothing, no lights at least.

2017 cyclone 3513, just purchased, but some items are unclear even the dealership (La mesa RV) does not know.
the fresh water selector switch has a "normal" and a "city" position. What is the difference?
In the control panel are 2 switches side by side at the bottom right.
What are they for...
