I do this exact thing on every other dump. I just buy a big bottle of the cheap Walmart veg oil and dump a cup in kitchen sink, bathroom sink, shower drain and both toilets after I close the valves from dumping. Makes a huge difference!
That switch is for the lights that light up near the floor. You should have one on the lower section of the kitchen island, one in the half bath (if yours is the half bath model), stairs going up to bedroom and also in the main bath. You should have another switch in the bedroom
I replaced that POS Thetford in my Landmark with the Dometic 310 toilet. Very simple process, remove old POS and bolt down the better replacement. Took all of about 30 minutes.
I have the same light fixture in my Landmark. It does twist off but you'll need to get a good grip on it using both hands. It is really hard to turn but it will twist off.
Just FYI for those of you that have the same skylight as mine and will eventually need to replace the bulb. The outer ring twists off and then you have to remove the lens assembly to get to the bulb. The bulb is a G4 and the ring is really hard to twist off. When I say really hard to twist off...
Speaking of fridges and ice makers. I have a 2018 Newport that sprung a leak in the ice maker line. I want to replace it with a braided steel line and thought I remember seeing on the forum that somebody had done that switchover. I'm pretty handy and was wondering how difficult and any tips I...
Need to replace ice maker water supply line on 2018 Newport with a steel braided line I think the plastic line is leaking. The shut off valve is located under the sink and I can see where it is run in the cabinet on the slide where the fridge is. Anybody ever replaced theirs and how difficult is...
It's really pretty simple to do. First and foremost shut off all power to your rig and unplug shore power cord. I removed the bad element and let it drain until the water stopped. If you don't have a socket that will fit the element get one. I don't remember what size socket you'll need because...
I'm aware of the sticker on the off door side. I'm trying to find the one that is stamped on the unit because I live in wonderful Kansas and it has to be inspected by the Highway Patrol since it was an out of state purchase to make sure it's not stolen, (even though I have a title and bill of...
Speaking of the MORryde pin box. I'm trying to find my VIN# of my 2018 Newport that is normally stamped on the pin box but it's not there. Does the MORryde system cover it up? Thanks in advance
Let me know how it goes as well. I have a 2018 Newport and get very little airflow out of the bedroom and front bath. I'm getting really good airflow out of the kitchen, living room and half bath
If I understand this right. You replaced the elbow and you now have just a trickle coming from the shower head and no leak, or is it still leaking and a trickle from the shower head.
This is great timing because I have to cap off my water supply line to my ice maker that has a pin hole in it on my 2011 3585RL and my drain tube is shot so I'm going to replace it as well
Was wondering if anyone else had this issue. Mine is just like yours, carpet barely damp. Just don't want any problems down the road. Thanks for the reply.
Need thoughts from any and all. My bedroom slide is leaking at the corner nearest the fridge. The seals have been replaced and cable seals re-glued to seals. Any ideas of what repair needs to be done to prevent this? Thanks in advance.
I'm a Service Advisor for a Ford dealership and handle all the diesel's. This message will come on every 12-13,000 miles and a PH test should be performed by a Ford dealer. It has nothing to do with the coolant level, it is a PH test only and should be done to prevent damage to the oil and EGR...
We have a 2011 3585RL and our door swings out into the hallway toward the bedroom. No problem getting to bathroom or fridge and can access the bedroom going through the bathroom if needed.
Thanks all for the info. I figured there had to be a shut off valve or drain somewhere for that. First unit with an ice maker in the fridge so still learning. Again, thanks for the info
We have a 2011 Bighorn 3585 RL with an ice maker in the fridge, but I have yet been able to find a drain for the water line to the ice maker. I have thought about taking the ice maker completely out of the fridge because we just use a portable counter top ice maker. Any thoughts and suggestions...
