Jim, once you validated the amplifier is on, go into the storage compartment on the passenger side and remove the first left side wall panel. Look around and you will see a cable TV splitter. Remove that and replace. They are cheap and that may be your problem. It happened to me and that...
I have a 2017 Bighorn 3275EL and on occasion the slides or landing gear will stop, either going in or out. I wait a second or two and it will restart. Any suggestions on what could be happening and how to fix it?
Has anyone considered or are using the new (out in June 2017) Briggs and Strattion Q6500 inverter generator? This cost effective ($1,499.00 on direct generator.com) generator seems to cover all bases such as using one AC and residential refrigerator with wattage to spare. Appreciate your comments.
When comparing the Morryde to the Lippert steps there are a few differences. The Lippert steps have a wider top step. To me this is important because when you step out of the RV you don't have to look down. You know there is a wide step. This helps when you have a package, baby, or something in...
Below is a message I read on another forum from another RV manufacturer and it concerns me because I use Dawn in my tanks all of the time. Is this something we need to be concerned about?
We called Ameri-Kart the manufacture of our polyethylene tanks. They said that the dishwater soap has...
I would be very interested to hear more about your black tank issues as I have been having ongoing black tank issues.

While looking for the leak, suggest you put a hole or two in the corroplast. Just take a 1/4" drill bit and by hand turn it to make the hole at the lowest point of the corroplast. This will certainly help.
I've had a lot of success by calling Heartland directly and then calling local service. Local service tech fixed my RV, I paid him, and Heartland reimbursed me. The key is call Heartland first, explain your issues and they will work with you.
Thank you for the response. I'm still concerned because my dealer mentioned he put 2 2x4's under the tank for support. Logic tells me that would lift the tank off the other factory supports. Any suggestions?

I have a 2017 BH 3575 Elite that we purchased in 2/17 and have had recurring issues with my black tank. All of the incidents below happened while at a campsite except where noted and I never travel with more than 3-5 gallons of water in my black tank. The good news is Heartland has been...
I just wanted to take a minute to mention the great service I received from Bill Brown and Jackie at RV Outlet USA. They went above and beyond to help me when I really needed help with my Bighorn 3575 EL. :o:o:o:o:o
Think about overall length very carefully. If you notice, whenever you try to make reservations at a campground one of the first questions is "how long is your RV". We've found that staying under 40' works real we as far as space and for finding our parking space.
Wade - we have the 3575EL and before we purchased it we wanted the pantry. After speaking with others we discovered that items in the pantry were always falling over and you had to use containers which really defeated the overall capacity of the pantry. So we went with the 3575 EL and never...
Just took the ferry yesterday. Overhead clearance is 13'6" and it's not a problem. Staying at Beachcomber RV Resort. Only nine mile from ferry. Love the ferry!

We installed similar steps made by Lippert and love them. With the Lippert step the first step out of the door is twice as wide as the rest. So when your hands are full and you can't see below you are stepping onto a platform. We love them and they have never stuck out too far. Everyone who has...
One of the shades in my 2016 Big Horn 3575 Elite is falling off the valance. What's the easiest way to reattach it. Looking at it, it looks like I need to remove both solar and night shades. Each has 4 Phillips screws on each end. Don't know how to get to the solar roller shade which is...
I also keep my 2017 BH 3575 plugged in 24/7 with the inverter light on. Am I doing anything wrong or is this the right way to keep the batteries topped off?
My new 2017 BH has an electric power cord reel that really makes life easier. This reel has a switch for extend or retract. I noticed that when I extend or remove the power cord, the reel free wheels and I don't need the switch to extend the cord.
Is this normal or is something wrong?
I have a 2017 BH 3575EL with a 55" Insignia tv and have a problem. I'm at a campground that provides free cable tv but I need to hook up a cable tv digital adapter and this requires me to run a HDMI cable from the adapter to my tv and I can't get to the HDMI port on my tv without unbolting the...
My three month old BH level up system make and awful lot of squeaky noises when being retracted
I've used silicone spray lubricant on the lower legs but it doesn't last. Any suggestions?

While filling up my black tank using the flush system I went inside my 2017 3575 el and when I stepped on the pedal to the toilet pressure was released from the toilet and air/water sprayed up from the toilet drain. I understand there is a vent and it may have been blocked but I don't see how...
I have a 2017 BH and can't figure out how to get the shades off so I can adjust them. Seems like they're attached to the curtain balance but I don't know how to remove it. Any suggestions?
