Dane -thank you for explanation and your washer hookup must be in bedroom which makes the shower a lower point than the washer drain pipe. I'm assuming your tub could act as overflow catch for washer draining. Unfortunately, our washer in in the 'garage' and nothing is lower than washer drain.

got the same sound on our cyclone. research led me to believe it is the fluid in leveling legs either expanding (morning) or contracting(evening). Can't recall the details but one poster said switching out fluid to a very expensive brand would solve the issue (may have been a brand by Catapiller)

Have 2017 cyclone 4005 and agree with everything said above, especially the comments from nwilson. The furnace vent is useless as it is at the furthest point and ineffective. Our garage act as dining room so on cold mornings an electric space heater is a must.

Our 2017 cyclone had the bedroom thermostat attached to the side of bedside cabinet. To read the display I had to practically get onto the bed. There was enough space and extra wire to relocate it for easier viewing. Photo covers previous location
