There are several different types of the vents that will close. Our NT replacement vents came from Dyers RV (online purchase). Under $5 per vent.

Saw a North Trail heading south on I 77 yesterday afternoon. It was located between Statesville and Mooresville. Only caught a quick glimpse of it; enough to see there was a window at the rear & the NT graphics.

We have done this also. Just reviewed the Good Sam Continued Service Program which looks pretty reasonable. Can even be transferred to another RV if sold within 3 yr. coverage timetable.

Our CW has led us to believe that Heartlands are gone due to Keystone RV. Local CW is loaded with Keystone models. :( And yes, just checked & learned that Keystone is under Thor Industries!!

We looked at the North Trail 21. 2 great features I remember are the amount of counter space around sink area and the window in the bathroom. You might check those points against the Komfort.

Try "Taste Pure" it is a liquid water treatment that you can put into tank if you are using from freshwater tank. For city water connection, try a Taste Pure filter that attaches inline hose.

All suggestions are good ...... we use red fox urine. Buy it at Dicks Sporting Goods in hunting section. They also sell small plastic clip on containers with cotton pads to go inside. Spray the pads & hang (wire works well) the containers from the underside of TT. Refresh spray as needed...

We have the smoke Maxxair vents & really like them. Have had Ramble vents on previous TT. They were fine but I think the warranty on Maxxair may be better.

We have an 09 North Trail. On a recent trip, experienced the same buzzing. Our fridge is in the slide & has the top/bottom access panels as described. I removed the top panel (freezer) & saw one of the fans. Moved some pieces of surrounding insulation & it seemed to cut down on the buzzing...

We got a new queen innerspring mattress from Mattress Express for $300. It is wonderful. Have tried the toppers with another unit & nothing beats the real mattress. Check with your local mattress dealers.

In the 26RKS North Trail, it is located behind the fascia. This is the decorative "wood" border that outlines the slideout on the interior. The border has to be removed by taking out screws. Then the shaft appears so one can crank manually.
