Welcome Josh and Shawn! Glad to hear we have a chapter in the state again. Lily and I have never missed an Alabama rally since the very beginning (2010). Looking forward to the next rally with the AL Heartland gang (and the many "outsiders" who always seem to make it to our rallies. Looking...

We had the same problem and used the switch on the breaker panel to turn ours on off for a couple years. Not long ago, for some reason (can't remember) I removed the connector where you plug the hose in and saw a wire had become disconnected. Connected the wire and it has been working great...
We changed to LT tires for our coach and it is the same floor plan as your 3250. Take a look Bridgestone Duravis, a commercial 10 ply tire. Have had them on for over 30,000 miles and no problems so far (includes a round trip from AL to Alaska). Will be replacing with same when ever these get...
Yes, had a G4 that I won as a door prize at a rally. Pretty expensive item and was really excited about it. Installed and calibrated it and used it for one summer's travel. Found it to be pretty much a dash clutter item. I don't think it would do you much good with limbs anyway. Just use your...
Started out with a Reese 15K and used that for about 3 yrs, then decided to get a Curt 20K and love it. I think it is really good bang for your buck. We are not full timers, but have put over 50,000 miles on the coach since we got it back in 2010.
I went with Bridgestone Duravis LT's and so far have over 35,000 miles on them and they still look great. Plan to get many more out of them (I hope). Been VERY pleased with them. Do some research to get the specs on them. When these wear out I'm pretty sure I will get the same, unless something...
I have the Sewer Solution and use it with about 25 feet of PVC when at home and it works great. Have used it a few times when on the road and it worked the same.
We have been pulling our Bighorn (Real close to the 14,000 lb max) with a 2006 Duramax since 2011 with several trips out west and one to Alaska with no issues. There were times I wished we had an exhaust brake, but the Tow/Haul worked just fine. You should not have any problems. You can check...
Westwind,
We had the same problem with out kitchen ceiling lights. Last summer they quit. Had several folks take a look during a couple of rallys and all felt it was a problem with wiring somewhere with the walls. A month ago the lights came back on, but only worked for a day or so. I...
We spent 3 1/2 months going last summer and even that seemed to be rushing it at times. Can't imagine trying to make the trip in 1 month and enjoying it. There are so many places to stop and see just driving thru Canada on the way up and back plus all the places to visit in Alaska. Be sure to...
Bought ours about 5 yrs ago. After a few months I had a problem and called King Controls. They were great to work with and I am sure they will go out of their way to help you. Of course I was still under warranty at the time, but I would bet their service would be the same.
I replaced the bat wing with a jack antenna a few years ago and have no regrets. It works much better. I just bought the head, removed the bat wing and attached the Jack. Took less than 5 minutes.
We had a Blow Max blowout tear ours up a few years ago. Had it taken care of thru insurance and if I remember correctly it cost somewhere in the $1300-1400 range. (i just paid $250 deductible). I remember that Heartland sent the wrong graphic to put on and that caused a delay in getting it...
I made one of these several years ago and try to use it on a regular basis. My biggest problem is remembering to use it BEFORE I park in a site. There is nothing more frustrating than going through the hassle of getting properly parked only to discover a bad electrical hookup.
When we purchased our BH 5 years ago the movable island was an option we declined. Since we spend lots of time on the road we wanted access to all areas, which it would have prevented. We have managed just fine without it and could not imagine having it in the way for the past 43,000 miles/5...
When we ordered our 2011 3070RL that was the one option we did not want and do not regret it at all. We travel a lot with ours and wanted the "open" feeling plus it would be in the way when we overnight sometimes at at places where we can to put the slides out. If you are going to be parked...
I had a couple of adjustable slide out supports from Camping World from our previous TT. I carry one with us and simple snug it up under the bottom of the ladder when I want to get on the roof. Makes it good and solid. Works great.
