I might try that when I get it fixed. It’s on the back burner and winterized for now. The local repair shop is booked through January. There is a mobile repair guy in town to but I still might try it myself if the weather clears up. Raining hard today.
Yes I do know that cable is broke it broke when the pulley system come undone and left slack in the cable. What aggravates me is the system pulling away from the wall. And by the number of holes it has happened before.
2014 3755fl bighorn. Has anyone else had this problem of the pulley system pulling out of the wall. Upon looking at it it appears to have happened several times before. Looks like I’m going to have to plate it across a couple of studs to get it to hold. Thank you.
Thank you, I will look around again in that area Friday. I was'nt sure if it would be up front or in the back where the shore power comes in. And no i do not think it has been gen prepped.
As i am sitting here thinking about this project i am wondering where to look to see if there is a transfer switch already on my bighorn. I cant post on the ask the factory threads. any ideas where to look would be great, Thank you.
Thank you for the replies, and sorry for the delay in response from me as I have been on graveyards. I will add a piece of plywood and rubber under the generators and add a few more screws for some added strength and security. Thank you.
Good morning, I am wanting to add a shore power connection to the front of my bighorn 3755fl to be close to my generators as i use portable generators. The question I have is do i tap in to the existing shore power inlet and run wires to a plug up front or just tie in to one of the junction...
Thank you for the input. I did purchase a used Onan 5500 to put in there but i decided i liked the portable generators better and that i can only use one if needed. The floor does seem strong enough even though there is no actual frame work. I just want that extra protection from them falling...
