I had the same problem 3 years ago on a 2008 Sundance. No help from Heartland so I had the unit repaired and sold it. I had if repaired in Elkhart at Capitol RV who did a lousy job on repairs. Sorry for you problems.

Do not take to RV Capitol in Elkart. I drove all the way from Colorado for de-lamination repair last year and they did a terrible job that needs redone. Was to take 3 days and they took 14 days to repair and the repair had cracked open already half way home.

Sorry to disagree. I had warranty work done thru Heartland and they did very poor job. The delamination repair is worse than when I took it to them. Am still waiting on Steve with Heartland for a reply.

I take Arizona Hwy 1 at Ehrenberg, Az just across the bridge at California/Arizona on I-10. The road is a good blacktop road and is shorter than either of the two routes you asked about. Hwy 1 goes into Parker, Az. I use this route every year.

We will be heading out Dec 4th for 3 months to Sandpoint Marina & RV park about 15 miles south of Lake Havasu City. Will be watching for you.

We have friends from Montana who stay at the Shangri-La RV Resort in Yuma and they like it very well. I stopped by last year and it seems like a very clean well organized park with many activities. We winter in the Lake Havasu area and like it there.

I have needed 4 WD pulling up hill on gravel roads as in 2 WD the rear tires would spin and not pull 5th wheel. Also needed to get out of grass fairgrounds after two days of rain. In the rocky mountain area you are going to want 4 WD.

We stayed at Carlsbad rv park Jan 2009 for 2 days and were satified. It is much closer to Carlsbad Caverns than the parks north of Carlsbad. We have stayed at the Hacienda Rv park in Las Cruces, NM. It is a very nice new park and is very easy to get to off I-10.

I have a 2008 Sundance 3200ES purchased new in Oct 2009 with bubble or delamination showing already. Will check with customer service and see what they have to say about it since it is under warranty.
