We upgraded from a F150 to a F250 diesel. There is a world of difference towing our trailer that weighs 6900 fully loaded. The 150 did the job but not as easily and towing up grades was a nail biter at high rpm's and the gas pedal mashed to the floor. I think that trailer is too much for the 150...

We are sailors on the Chesapeake Bay. Your comparison to reefing regarding slide toppers is not correct. The toppers attach to the trailer and the top of the slide out. On our North Trail, the topper does not cause any issues in high winds and does not need to be reefed as sails do.

I did a Google search and saw that Grumbines is now a Camping World. After all the bad press about Camping World's business practices, I am very hesitant to purchase a TT from them. I think we will proceed slowly as our current TT is in fine condition and we love the layout and space in it. Diane

Our first trip was two weeks ago and we did look back to make sure the trailer was still attached. LOL Fabulous towing experience with all the power and the huge mirrors. We have seen both yellow and green handles for diesel and look at the pump several times to make sure it is diesel.

Another vote for Leo's! We had them service our Sunline after the selling dealer closed and bought our current NT from them. The TT gets an annual service there as well for brakes, bearings, recaulking as needed, etc. Both the sales and service folks are great.

It seems that we have to learn a new language: diesel! And remember to pull up to the diesel pump and learn all the features on this new truck and check that the NT is still attached with all the power compared to the F-150. I think it will be a fun summer!

We have a 24RBS and tow with an F 150 super crew. Previous tow vehicle was a Ford Expedition. That was not a pleasant towing experience due to the short wheelbase. You need to consider the wheel base of your tow vehicle in addition to tongue weight.
