AC Not Working

The AC is a Coleman unit and for the second year has broken at the end of vacation. When it was turned on at the final destination Friday, there was an ominous clunking sound. This happened last year and was a capacitor issue and was repaired. I think it is time to replace the unit. The nonfunctioning AC sent us home a day earlier than expected this year and several days earlier last year.

The common thing to both these AC experiences is that the AC ran perfectly in western NC both years but then crapped out when we moved to a warmer location. Perhaps the message here is that we should stay put of western NC. LOL

have you checked your [URL="https://wysiwyg.clientseoreport.com/client/44942/103729/ranking/index?setting.groupBy=5547559"]air filters[/url] that can cause huge problems with air conditioners. causing them to over work and not cool as well if they are filthy. also smell like mildew or old wet clothes. yuck!
