Hey Phil, the weekend at 4 paws is coming up.
Hopefully I will get the rest of my Tri-Glide parts today from Lippert. If I dont I guess everyone can camp in my backyard.
How are you going up there? I guess you run the back roads from your house. If the timing is right, might run up to your...
Re: Maryland Rally
Steamed crab? Sign me up. Someone mention a need for food taster or judging :) If the date works for me, I will be trying hard to make this one :o
This won't help your situation but I tried treating the cap of our new BC with Rejex...gave it three coats before our last trip. I must say...I am sold! Bugs came off really easy! Having had to "sandblast" them off our other rig I appreciate the Rejex difference.
Re: Using Craigslist
I tried Craigs list and had the same problem with the spam. Tried to sell a few items and nly one sold. Put the other's on Ebay and sold them with no problems.

Re: Using Craigslist
Ok, here is another follow up on my Craigslist listings. Some very strange things have happened with "My Account' I am sure it is because of my inexperience and I have probably done something wrong. So, for everyone that has used Craigslist, maybe you can tell me what I...
Re: Input Requested for 2012 Rally Location
Great ideas. Keep them coming. At some point this winter, I should have a chance to create a comprehensive list in the 2012 rally forum so everyone can access it and consider some of the points of interest listed.

Note also that the use of adapters usually derates the capacity by 50%. If you need the capacity for your bikes, I'd use a bike rack with a 1-1/4" tube instead of adapting an existing 2" model.

Pam,
Heartland pays from a flat rate book for warranty work. Some dealers do not care to be paid on that basis. But that is how we do it. I don't think we're alone in this area either. It's a shame that the dealer wants you to pay more than we pay them.

It is not so much what the hitch can handle, but what the bumper handle. Like said before, it is intended for bicycles and not much more. By adding the hitch adaptor, you are multiplying the load significantly.
Re: Input Requested for 2012 Rally Location
Should Gillette, WY be the place we select, Nancy and I plan on adding a week or two after the rally for seeing the area between Gillette and back East. Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Black Hills etc. What else of significant interest between Gillette...
Thanks for all who have responded. We won't need any more "me too" responses. But I would welcome any additional information. For example, if it's only affecting the Portal page, let me know. If it only affects you once when you load your first forum post, let me know that. If it affects...
When I had my first version of LevelUp on my last coach, I was told to raise up on the front a bit, after the rear stabs were down. Gotta be careful to not overload them, but adding some pressure to them sets them for better stabilization, as I understand it.
Jim
Is it only the Portal that is slow to load? When I am in the Forum, I click the What's New button one after the other and it loads fast. The Portal page does load slow for me though. Just trying to narrow this down more so we can look into this better.

Re: Using Craigslist
Just a follow up on my craigslist listings that I think is interesting.
Once all my listings (7 of them) got off the "front page" all the spam stopped like someone shut a switch off.
Of course I still haven't had any serious inquires either.
I guess maybe I will go...
Great update Larry. Congrats on your progress to date and best of luck on the next phase of completing "kicking the habit" and continuing the PT.
See you in Buellton.
Jim
Hi Fred and Trish,
The rally was a lot of fun. Glad you made it. Sorry but I won't be in Elkhart until August 9th. If we run into each other at some point, would love to share a meal. Although I may insist on paying :)

Re: Input Requested for 2012 Rally Location
Hi Ronnie & Deborah,
It was great meeting you and the girls at the Jellystone. Happy to see you got online and read in another thread that we took care of that bowing issue you had in the front of the unit.
Speaking of rallies, if you can swing...
Re: Mountain good idea
So far I have only done one of the three improvement steps:
1) Close off the extra space at the end of the duct runs. Two in Bedroom and one in Bunk House. I notices a bit of an increase of air flow after this, but it isn't as much as I thought.
I am currently...
Re: Mountain good idea
Hi everyone,
As I write this, I have a kink in my neck. Why? Because I spent about the last 75 mins on a ladder doing the first part of TimK's "AC Enhancement". A half-dozen feet of aluminum foil tape later, and now the cool air can no longer get back into the AC intake...
A month ago, there was a Landmark Grand Canyon down the road from us (never did get to meet the owner), that had what must be a gooseneck adapter on the pin. Looked like a long heavy metal tube designed to fit over something in the truck bed.
