Yes have taken the back panel off. It is plugged in and there is 120v at the plug. From there it seems to go to a circuit board behind a black plastic box. The manual identifies an 8A fuse (F2) on the circuit diagram, but no indication that I can understand as to where it is physically located??
The Norcold N412.3Ul refrigerator in my 181will not work on mains 120v power. Fuse in the trailer is fine. How do I access the fuse in the refrigerator, as I assume that is the first place to check. It works fine on DC and Gas.
There used to be a facebook page for the MPG. A number of people there posted pictures of the Dometic Trimline Awning fitted to an MPG. All seemed happy with it. I think it was the ten foot model available from Camping World.

Way to go bigmaho. It looks great. I have a 2011 181 and it does not have the window above the dinette table that yours does. Only a tiny window on the door side, so it's like sitting in a black hole. Everyone I asked told me I could not put in a window above the dining table, the same as...
I replaced the plastic trays in our 181 with drawers from Ikea. I installed 3 Ikea "Rationell" drawers that fitted in the gaps prettty well perfectly. Installed panels of composite board on each side to support the drawers and the problem of those stupid plastic bins was solved
Just wondering, how does everyone stop food and stuff flying all over the place in the fridge while travelling. Our current method is to stuff a pillow in there. There must be a better way. Are there small containers made to fit or something.
This cover looks pretty good. Can you provide some details, make, size etc.. Or give a link to it on the Camperworld website if they have a website. I have been unable to find a camperworld website myself. many thanks
Re: Useless Compartment Locks
I had this problem with our 181 when we took delivery in 2011. Had to push REALLY hard against the doors to ensure there was minimal pressure on the flange or lugs or whatever you call the moveable part of the latch. I also figured I may as well force things as...
Let's hope you get a reply telling where you can buy one. I want to do the same and to date have been unable to get any response from Heartland at all. Our trailer is n Saskatchewan but currently we are in Australia. It is a little warmer.
Have just had our new MPG181 delivered to ND where we picked it up and drove back to Canada yesterday (18 Oct). There is no back window. The Dealer (RV Wholesalers) and Hearland both told me there would be a back window in the 181 but no side window. Our new one (build date 2 Sep) has one...
