    B&W Companion Hitch Position

B&W companion and 2011 Cyclone with a 2008 F250 CC Shortbed. What position are you running the B&W hitch arms in? There are three settings: max forward, middle, or max rearward? Cyclone is still being built and I got the Companion base in the truck trying to get as close as I can. Any help?

    Re: B&W Companion Hitch Position

I think you'll be real happy with your choice of hitches. I set ours kinda in the middle to start with and it seems to of worked out ok. That put the pin over the top of the axle. Unless they have changed it though I would say on mine there is a lot more choices than just three settings, almost to many. I really like the B&W though, we moved up to a MDT and it came with a Trail saver, so will likely sell our B&W someday.

I have mine set towards the front. I figured it puts the receiver pin directly over the pop up ball, and the axel. So far I have had no clearance issues. I love the B/W setup.
